Sunny is a firm favourite of his foster carer and comes with glowing references after his stay!!
If you want a beautiful, loving, affectionate boy and you think Gingers are the best then do not hesitate :)
As you can see, he is very good looking - lovely white bib and feet and light-coloured sandy ginger coat.
He is quite low key and settled for a young cat; not crazy energy (a few zoomies and fun times but generally overall quite chilled) He hasnt climbed very much (no stress about the curtains or screen door so far!) but does enjoy being at the top of the cat tower. He likes being gently brushed and will roll over and let you brush his tummy and handle his paws, hug and kiss him.
Not a huge player with toys but does enjoy attention and will try to hunt the shaky cat toy stick.
His age is a guesstimate but vet suggests he is approximately 1 year old.
My Ideal Home: Somewhere where I will be loved and adored for the great cat that I am!!! Super chilled, fun, very happy, very loving.
I am perfectly litter trained.
I am not fussy but also not a big eater.
What is Known About My Background: He was obviously very well loved and socialised as a kitten due to his glorious nature now.
He came in from Port Stephens pound and spent a whole month in a cage there waiting for rehome. Was VERY happy to be rescued by HAR and he settled in immediately - showering his Carer with hugs and putting his little paw out to cuddle & touch. After his Pound stay he needed extensive brushing and his coat was shedding a lot - this has settled down since he now gets regular grooming which he loves.
He was desexed & vaccinated while in HAR care. As well as treated with flea & tick meds. New owner will need to take him for his second vaccination on 18/3/26 (cost covered by HAR *at HAR vets see website)
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Sunny is quite laid back and placid. He immediately got along fine with the Carers 6yo cavoodle and 14yo senior male cat. Did not find his new flatmates intimidating at all. He was quite curious and submissive and everyone got along very quickly.
Hasnt met any young kids but cannot see why he wouldnt love a child too (loves his teenagers!) Will not run and hide if you get visitors - he will be there doing a confident meet & greet!
Cannot stress enough how good this cat is :)
