About Sumac
All About Me and My Unique Personality: Sumac is a magnificent looking silver tabby! While a little shy at first but he does love his food rewards and brush and he soon warms up. With love and time he will soon be enjoying a good snuggle with you. His favourite place at the moment is his foster carer's lap. He is great with his foster sibling dog friend and often curls up with him for a nap too. Sumac would be fine if you went to work during the day - he likes a bit of quiet time and will be ready to greet you when you return.
My Ideal Home: A caring, quiet home where he can be fussed over and treated like the gentleman that he is.
What is Known About My Background: Sumac and his siblings Sesame and Wasabi came into care from a home with too many cats. His siblings have found new homes and Sumac is ready to find his.
He is very healthy and comes with all his vet work done (microchip, desexed, vaccinated, worm and flea treated) He is great with the litter tray.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Sumac was in the shelter with siblings and others and was great with these other cats so he could probably integrate well with other pets.
He would probably be fearful of the raucous activities of young children but older children who let him come to them in his own time will likely form a strong bond over time.
Similarly a gentle dog could also be a good fit for him, as he is not scared of the dog :)
