All About Me and My Unique Personality: Little Izzie had a tough start as the runt of the litter, struggling to thrive due to being undernourished. But she’s made up for lost time and now has a healthy appetite—maybe even a little too healthy! She has become quite voluptuous around her middle, hence the "pear". Because of her early struggles, she can be protective of her food, but with patience and love, she’ll learn there’s always enough to go around. She has become a very affectionate little lady and as her foster friends have found their homes she has gravitated more to human company. Loves a snuggle with you and is quite chatty as well. When she has been put away at night, she is full of enthusiasm and overjoyed to see you in the morning and when you return from work.
This little dynamo has energy to burn but is confident enough to let others know when she’s done playing. She’s sweet yet independent, making her a great fit as an only cat. With her stunning coloring and petite size, she’s as unique as she is lovable.
My Ideal Home: Little Izzie would do well in a home where she can be herself—whether as a solo cat or with understanding feline friends. Her true affection shows when she hasn't got her other friends to depend on though she is so very playful, she loves to interact with them. She’ll thrive with an adopter who appreciates her spunky, independent nature and can respect her food boundaries.
What is Known About My Background: I came into a Central Coast pound with 12 other babies, mixed siblings. I was the tiniest and the one who had struggled to compete for food.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Gets along with other cats and has a great time but is assertive with them. No exposure to dogs or young children.
