All About Me and My Unique Personality: Ollie loves being around people, he is a constant little shadow. He loves to sit / sleep laps, chest and shoulders that are available. He is an huge fan of close proximity. He is know to frequently “shoulder ride’ his way around. He is affectionate and likes to snuggle and fall asleep on any part of you. He is involved with everything, sometimes watching you eat dinner, sometimes sleeping with you on the couch, sometimes “helping” you with household work. Ollie is a bundle of fun who joins the people around him in their daily life.
Ollie has bonded deeply with people and will provide great companionship.
Being a kitten, Ollie is very energetic and playful. We are getting him to focus his big kitten energy on playing with toys and teaching him good manners. Ollie is in touch with his emotions, showing them strongly to his carers when he wants their attention.
Ollie loves to play. He uses his catlike instincts to stalk and hunt his prey (toys) with enthusiasm. Sometimes his carers would walk into the room to find him chasing a ball, climbing a cat tower, or wrestling ‘bunny kicking’ with a plushie. Ollie is very fun to be around, as he can both keep himself entertained, and play with you.
My Ideal Home: Ollie would like a safe, secure, indoor environment. Ollie would go well with a catio or a cat backpack to go on adventures. He’s well traveled, as he is used to going from place to place in the car. Ollie is suitable in a home with children ages 8 and above. He likes to be involved in household activities and being around you. He would like a home with a person that is home more of the time, with the ability to sleep in your bed. He would like vertical spaces for climbing, tunnels, spaces where he can hide, and other things to keep him stimulated. He would like a person who can spend a lot of time to play and be with him.
What is Known About My Background: When Ollie was only 2 days old, he was found on the side of the road by a young boy. He was taken to the local vet clinic and afterward entered foster care with one of our amazing neonate carers. He was syringe fed and hand raised with love and affection. Because Ollie was hand raised, he is incredibly affectionate, providing a Velcro-like companionship, and imprinted early on humans.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Ollie has had feline and canine mentorship and has been able to socialise and live among friendly older cats and dogs. When being hand raised by his neonate carers, Ollie was living around an adult dog and cat, both in which he interacted well with. In his current foster home, Ollie was living with 2 older kittens (One of which is in the image gallery), 2 younger kittens, and a puppy.
Ollie is a big fan of people.
