All About Me and My Unique Personality: Hello! My name is Lilith. I’m a gorgeous, curious little lady on the hunt for her forever family. My favourite activities are playing with toys, hunting leaves that have fallen from the house plants, and doing zoomies. I’m a lover of all things food and it’s the quickest way to my heart.
When I first came into foster care I was what was called a “spicy” kitten, I found people really scary and hissed at them for a while. But once I realised that person meant food and pats, I became a bit of a fan. New people I’m still cautious of at first, but I’ll just watch from a distance until I know you’re safe (feed me a really good treat and I’ll learn that much quicker), then, once I trust you, I’ll give you big smooches and show my playful side.
My Ideal Home: An indoor only home is an essential for me. Ideally I’d love a family who will give me the time I may need to feel safe in their presence, and who is happy to deal with my crazy kitten antics once I trust them. I’m a very typical boisterous kitten around people I know.
What is Known About My Background: We don’t anything about my background, I was dropped to the pound with my mum and siblings when I was only a week or two old.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: I’ve met older kids and while weary to start, I was ok with them patting me during our first meeting. I haven’t met little kids but I think it’d take me a good while to get used to them.
I love my kitten siblings, but haven’t met any older cat friendly cats, so I don’t know how I’ll react, but I’ve got quite a curious nature, so my foster mum thinks I’ll be ok with them.
I live with two very patient and quiet dogs, it’s a been a month and I now like to sit near them and play chicken by running past, I even let one give me a kiss recently and I didn’t run away. They aren’t my best friends, but as long as the dog is calm, I’ll be happy to live along side them, it’ll just take a bit of trust building to start.
