About Koi (available soon)

All About Me and My Unique Personality: Koi is a very active and exhibits high energy. She has an intense curiosity and hunting instincts. She is a leaped, a high pouncer and when she makes a catch she loves to parade the prize. She is going hard on the vertical spaces (cat tree) and playing with her siblings. Her play levels and agility are amusing and amazing to watch.
She loves the fish pole teaser wand with favourites rotated during a play session. She is a pretty girl who will need mental stimulation ( vertical platforms for jumping, climbing towers, spaces for leaping). So far I am settling into foster care, I am showing curiosity and a keenness for play.

My Ideal Home: A safe and secure indoor home with a family or people around most of the time. I would benefit from ongoing interactive play.
I will need plenty of teaser and chase toys.

What is Known About My Background: I was surrendered to a local pound with my siblings.

How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: She has big energy when playing with her siblings, she also likes to play independently. Appears accepting of other kittens in foster care.
So far settling into new environment, with foster children aged 11 and 13.

HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.

Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.

HAR Adoption Process
1. Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2. If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3. If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4. 4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.

Please understand that by filling in this form, it by no means guarantees that you will be successful in the adoption process, nor does it obligate you to adopt.

To complete this form an attachment must accompany this application regarding housing status. Either landlord approval to have an animal at the premises, or proof of home ownership.
