All About Me and My Unique Personality: Gus loves his daily walks and walks on a harness and leash, he can be a little excited at the start but settles nicely once he gets going. He loves car rides and walks, making him a great adventure companion. He’s not too fond of Water, but with encouragement, he’ll give it a go just to please you.
Gus can get some dry skin seasonally but with a premium diet and some skin care shampoo on wash day he’s generally fine.
This gorgeous boy truly deserves a loving family to share his days with, one full of companionship, affection, and adventures. He comes desexed and up to date with vaccinations and flea / tick treatments.
If you’re looking for a loyal, people loving best mate, Gus could be your perfect match.
My Ideal Home: WHAT GUS NEEDS:
• Would thrive in a home where he is included as a part of the family
• Requires daily exercise, mental stimulation.
• A home who can see him through to his golden years and love him endlessly.
What is Known About My Background: Gus is a beautiful 7 year old English Staffy with the biggest heart and a loveable personality. He has grown up in a loving family environment and thrives on human companionship. Gus adores people and is great with older children, he can be a little overexcited with younger children but will always greet you in the most endearing way.
He has been an outdoor only dog so has not specifically been toilet-trained the live indoors. He is smart and eager to please so is likely to respond well to positive reinforcement if he were to be allowed indoors and encouraged to relieve himself outside.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Gus is dog friendly and has experience living and playing with other dogs, including an American Staffy and a kelpie. He used to visit the dog park and dog friendly beaches when he was younger, and while he hasn’t been for some time, he would benefit from slow and sensible introductions when meeting new dog friends.
