All About Me and My Unique Personality: My name is Chrissy. I was born on Christmas Eve in 2022 at a local shelter. While my other siblings were adopted, until October 2025 my sister Cookie and I had spent our entire lives in a small enclosure at this shelter waiting to be adopted. Now though, I have finally moved into a foster home! Everything is new and a little overwhelming, but I am bravely learning what it means to be a cat in the big, beautiful world outside that small enclosure.

Affection: I am a sweet girl and, despite my hesitant start, I am quickly learning to be affectionate. I always want to be near my people, following them from room to room—I just haven't quite figured out how to snuggle yet!
Social Life: I get along relatively well with the boy cats at my foster home, but now that my sister and I aren't confined to a small space, I've realised I'm not a fan of other female cats. I would likely thrive in a home with a male cat companion, or as a single pet receiving all your attention.
Progress: I am making great progress every day! Every new experience is a milestone. Watching me learn to relax, play, and trust is an incredibly rewarding experience.

My Ideal Home: I am a true rescue cat who needs a dedicated family to teach me all the basics—from climbing on the couch to chasing feather toys. My new life is a work in progress, and the time and patience you invest in me will be beautifully rewarded as I continue to discover myself.
I need a calm, predictable, and supportive environment where my humans are willing to give me the space and time to slowly adapt.
Patience is key—I might be shy at first, but with gentle guidance, I will blossom into a loving, confident companion.
A home that understands my background and is ready to teach me about toys, windows, and laps is the perfect match for me.

What is Known About My Background: I was born at a local shelter in 2022 and had been there until I was fostered out in October 2025. My sister and I had spent our entire lives in an enclosure together, but since arriving in a home we have realised we no longer get along with each other and need to go our separate ways.

How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: I get along fairly well with the boy cats in care. I have never met a dog or small human so I'm not sure how I would respond. It would most likely take a lot of time and patience for me to adapt.
