About Booker

All About Me and My Unique Personality: I'm a bit of a devil. Always amongst the action or hiding out ready to pounce on unsuspecting victims!

I'm not so much a lap cat, but I'm happy to lay next to you on the bed or couch when I need to recharge my batteries! I'm definitely full of character - always exploring and checking out my surroundings - love meeting new people.

My Ideal Home: I and pretty bomb proof and would adapt to any type of household. I do love company so I don't think I'd like to be an only pet - especially if my humans worked all day. I do like to latch on to my mums feet while she walks (never teeth or claws) so very young children or older people might trip over me. It's a fun game, but I'm sure I'll grow out of it.

What is Known About My Background: I came into care as a stray with my three brothers

How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: I do like to wrestle with my siblings a lot, so a house that already has a cat over 8 years might get annoyed with me. I love the dogs and am happy to rumble with the big cats. I'm super confident so I might be a bit rough for very young children. I love attention but I am not the type of kitten who likes to be carried around - I squirm and wiggle too much.

HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1. Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2. If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3. If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4. 4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
Please understand that by filling in this form, it by no means guarantees that you will be successful in the adoption process, nor does it obligate you to adopt.
To complete this form an attachment must accompany this application regarding housing status. Either landlord approval to have an animal at the premises, or proof of home ownership.
