All About Me and My Unique Personality: Skylar is completely and utterly an extrovert. She is outgoing, high energy, and social butterfly. She thrives on interaction, play and exploration. She sprints to greet you. She will climb straight up onto your chest or shoulder and smother you with affection. She is very talkative. She seeks attention, meowing loudly, purring and rubbing in the most smoothies firm way.
She explores body, if you open a door or cupboard she is right in there investigating everything. She has no fear, happily being part of meal prep and cooking. Does not mind water, gets involved in doing the dishes. Does not shy away from water. She loves being the focus of attention.
Skylar is also super cuddly, seeking out people constantly to shower with head bunts, rubs and offer endless ‘kneading’ . She is most definitely a content kitty in an active lively household. She likes to be around people when they work, eat dinner, attend to the bathroom, clean. She is a complete shadow.
Skylar is a very young mother. She has had the responsibility of raising kittens, which after a shaky disrupted start she has become an amazing attentive mother to her kittens.
Skylar being a young cat and having a strong extroverted personality has engaged in great play sessions whilst her babies are sleeping.
She seeks play and will zoom around the house, nudging her toys and climbing up high. She likes fetch and needs mental stimulation like puzzle toys and interactive play to burn off her kitten energy and curiosity.

My Ideal Home: Skylar’s ideal home would be a safe, secure household. Skylar prefers being indoors and around people. She’s extremely adjustable and settled within a few days at her foster home. Skylar would prefer any kids there around 8+ that are cat aware and interact well with cats in general. She likes to be petted and doted on. Skylar loves jumping to high places, which is to be considered when making her living environment e.g cat towers or ledges. Lastly, Skylar would need a home with people that can care for her and show her love and affection.
Skylar thrives on interaction and being able to be the confident amazing cat that she is. She needs to be part of the family going-ons.
She may like a catio or outdoor enclosure for periods. She has like sitting in the sun and warming up.

What is Known About My Background: Skylar came into a rural pound when pregnant and within 24 hours from then, she gave birth to 4 kittens. She was then transferred into a foster home, although she was very young, underweight, and malnourished. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 kittens passed away in the 1st week of foster care. We predict Skylar hasn’t had any adverse human interactions based on her personality. She adjusted very quickly, and thinks change is interesting and needs to be examined more than anything else. She is very attached to people. She does not appear to have any boundaries or reservations. She is very confident (complete opposite of shy).

How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Skylar has 2 older kids in her foster home aged 12 and 14 who she is affectionate towards and loves. She is very affectionate and allows the kids to handle her with no concerns. There is also another cat/kitten in Skylar’s foster home, to which she is curious towards, however she doesn’t pay much attention to him. She is slightly protective as a new mother and therefore is kept seperate so she can focus her energy on being a good mum.
There was a young dog / puppy in care and Skylar showed interest. She did not appear concerned with the puppy and confidently strolled up to inspect.
