We’re a 100% volunteer-run, registered charity dedicated to giving every animal a second chance through our foster care network and adoption program.

As a 100% volunteer run charity, we rely on your generosity to carry out our misson. You can support our work by giving consumables and equipment for our foster cats and dogs, or by giving a tax deductible donation.

Foster

Imagine the feeling of saving an animal’s life. You can make a difference to helpless and neglected pets by becoming a cat or dog foster carer. Without fostering, there can be no rescue. Foster carers are the true heroes and help us save hundreds of animals each year. Could you help HAR to save more? We offer flexibility & support to all foster carers.

Volunteer

Every person in the HAR team is a volunteer, and there are many ways to contribute whenever and however you’re able. You’ll have fun and meet new friends both human and furry, while transforming the lives of our foster animals. You can also gain experience in areas like events, fundraising, governance, photography, even technology!
