All About Me and My Unique Personality: Meet Waffle — the irresistibly adorable little cracker who’s bound to steal your heart! His fluffy long hair and sweet expressive face makes him so cute to look at, but what really sets Waffle apart is his obsession with being your lap cat. To Waffle, any moment spent away from you is a moment wasted. He’ll happily follow you from room to room, soaking up every bit of affection and playtime you offer before curling up contentedly in your lap for a cozy snooze.
Waffle also has a charming quirk: he hasn’t quite figured out how to meow yet! Instead, his attempts sound more like a soft hiss — but don't worry, he’s just trying to tell you how much he loves you in his own special way. This endearing little oddity only makes Waffle even more unforgettable!
My Ideal Home: Waffle would love to be rehomed with his brother Pancake, another one of his foster friends (also at Rathmines) or with another cat friendly cat. Two kittens are better than one as they will teach each other appropriate behaviours and keep each other company. If he is rehomed as a solo kitten, he will need someone who has plenty of time to give so he doesn't get lonely. As with all Hunter Animal Rescue cats/kittens, Waffle needs to be indoors only or in a secure cat enclosure.
What is Known About My Background: Waffle come into care with a number of other kittens after ending up at the pound. Now he has completed his vet work, he is ready to find his forever home.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Waffle would love to be rehomed with another cat or kitten as he loves to play and snuggle with other cats. He is gentle and confident so would be a great fit for a family. Waffle hasn't been tested with dogs, but as he is a kitten, should be fine after an appropriate introduction.
