All About Me and My Unique Personality: Vivian (AKA Bibian, Bibby) is a gorgeous, independent young cat with a curious and gentle nature. She may not be a lap cat, but she adores pats, gentle brushes, scratches, tummy rubs and even kisses. She will often accept a cuddle in your arms—purring loudly in approval—making her a trusting companion for someone who loves giving affection on her terms. Vivian seeks out pats, chats and affection several times a day, and she is always waiting at the back door when family members arrive home.
Vivian is very playful and enjoys several games including hide and seek, sneak attack underneath the door (no claws), all kinds of ball games and anything involving feathers. She has an enduring curiosity about what is going on with water? While she has been offered the finest cushions, cat trees and couches, Vivian prefers the simple comforts of bath mats—so much so that she now has her own collection. Overall Vivian is a relaxed cat who enjoys her daily leisure hours as well as her morning and evening play time.
Vivian takes times to feel safe in a new environment, but once she has adjusted she's very trusting and relaxed. She is very low maintenance in regards to shedding and has the silkiest coat we've ever had the pleasure to pat.
My Ideal Home: It seems that Vivian could be suited to either a single or multi-person home. She currently lives with a family of three, including one older primary school kid. Vivian doesn't shy away from noise and high activity in the house, but she also seems content when things are quiet and peaceful.
What is Known About My Background: This quiet girl was sadly abandoned in a Bunnings carpark, but a kind soul helped her find her way to safety. Now, she’s looking for a forever home where she can feel safe and loved.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Vivian interacts easily with the kids she has met. When there's a play date for kids, Vivian doesn't hide away, she regularly tolerates the demands of kid affection with equanimity. Her foster family thinks there's a good chance she would be gentle and tolerant with younger kids. Vivian never scratches or is aggressive.
Vivian hasn't met any other dogs or cats under our care, but she is generally grounded and even keeled.
If you're looking for a beautiful and inquisitive feline friend who is both independent and full of charm, Vivian might just be your perfect match.
