About Snookie

All About Me and My Unique Personality: Snookie is a very relaxed little guy who enjoys a good pat, scratch behind the ear and a ping pong ball game. He is super snuggle bug and loves any interactions he can get! He is a gorgeous little guy with his sleek black coat and non-stop purr.

Snook doesn't mind a bit of a chat to his sister and will happily wander along checking out his surrounds before curling up in the sun on his cat tree.

We are very keen to see Snookie start his own special life with his own family and cannot understand how such a sweet and lovable little one is still in foster care after such a long time.

My Ideal Home: Snookie would fit in just about anywhere. He is inquisitive and interested in the world around him, while being ready for snuggles. And that purr....... to die for! He can be a little shy in new surrounds but warms up once he feels safe and secure. He would benefit from a second cat in the home, though isn't essentially and would adjust given time and lots of pats.

What is Known About My Background: Snookie and his siblings have all been in care since they were very young, having been bottle raised by their previous foster carer.

How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Snookie is in foster care in the home of children from 8+ years. He has been cuddled lots and lots and picked up without any issues. He is confident with gentle and respectful child interactions.

He has met the resident cats with no reaction, however has not met any dogs at this stage (only through windows and doors).

HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1. Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2. If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3. If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4. 4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
Please understand that by filling in this form, it by no means guarantees that you will be successful in the adoption process, nor does it obligate you to adopt.
To complete this form an attachment must accompany this application regarding housing status. Either landlord approval to have an animal at the premises, or proof of home ownership.
