About Rufus – Meet me at Petquarters Thornton

All About Me and My Unique Personality: Rufus has a lot of character. After a day at the vet for desexing they described him as very sassy, He is very gentle with humans and loves their attention. He will follow you around and when he is ready to settle if you are seated he will be in your lap. He loves to play, either on his own or with other cats.

He is very confident and shows no fear. He is small for his age but stocky. Will likely grow into a smallish cat when an adult.

My Ideal Home: Rufus will suit absolutlely any home.

What is Known About My Background: I came in from a pound

How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Rufus is great with other cats. He is good with my adult Labrador dog. He is very confident and I am sure he would be great with kids of any age.

Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1. Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2. If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3. If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4. 4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
Please understand that by filling in this form, it by no means guarantees that you will be successful in the adoption process, nor does it obligate you to adopt.
To complete this form an attachment must accompany this application regarding housing status. Either landlord approval to have an animal at the premises, or proof of home ownership.
