All About Me and My Unique Personality: Meet Pie, the cuddliest, most affectionate kitty you'll ever meet! This gentle boy is a true lovebug, always ready for a pat, cuddle, or a smooch. He’ll follow you around wherever you go, just to make sure he’s never far from his favorite humans. When he's not showering you with love, he’s indulging in playtime, chasing toys with a playful spirit. Easy-going and calm, Pie loves lounging on the couch with his foster carer, soaking in all the snuggles. If you're looking for a sweet companion who'll be your constant shadow and a source of endless affection, Pie is your guy!
Pie has been listed as ‘special needs’ due to his slightly enlarged heart. Pie was extremely stressed when taken to the vet for desexing. At that time, when listening to his heart with a stethoscope, a heart murmur was detected. Desexing was delayed a couple of weeks when yet again, likely due to stress, a slight murmur was detected. During desexing his heart was x-rayed and found to be slightly enlarged. No other clinical signs were observed and the origins of the murmur may simply be “innocent” or what is referred to as physiologic which appears at times of extreme stress.
My Ideal Home: Pie would be suitable to a home that can engage him in pats and playtime, as well as keep him safely inside.
What is Known About My Background: Pie came into a local pound due to his previous owner no longer being able to house him.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: It is unknown how Pie interacts with other animals in a home environment, however he was not reactive to his neighbouring cats while at the pound. He would be suitable for children.
