All About Me and My Unique Personality: Meet Pancake — the ultimate purr machine and certified snuggle expert! He earned his sweet name because, as a tiny kitten, he would flatten himself against the side of his playpen just to be as close as possible to his human carers. (In fact, as this very profile is being written, Pancake is happily snoozing in my lap — his absolute favourite place to be!)
This little treat is every bit as delightful as the breakfast food he’s named after. Pancake lives for love and affection, and he’ll return it tenfold with endless purrs, cuddles, and heart-melting gazes. Alongside his nonstop purring, Pancake is a master biscuit maker — truly a boss-level kneader! His affection, charm, and need to be close will make him an irresistible addition to any home.
My Ideal Home: Pancake would love to be rehomed with his brother Waffle, another one of his foster friends (also at Rathmines) or with another cat friendly cat. Two kittens are better than one as they will teach each other appropriate behaviours and keep each other company. If he is rehomed as a solo kitten, he will need someone who has plenty of time to give so he doesn't get lonely. As with all Hunter Animal Rescue cats/kittens, Pancake needs to be indoors only or in a secure cat enclosure.
What is Known About My Background: Pancake come into care with a number of other kittens after ending up at the pound. Now he has completed his vet work, he is ready to find his forever home.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Pancake would love to be rehomed with another cat or kitten as he loves to play and snuggle with other cats. He is gentle and confident so would be a great fit for a family. Pancake hasn't been tested with dogs, but as he is a kitten, should be fine after an appropriate introduction.
