All About Me and My Unique Personality: Milo is a very sweet and affectionate little boy. He is happy to be held like a baby on his back or carried in a handbag. Very easy to snuggle!
Milo is mostly quiet but does like being a guard dog when visitors come and will bark but stops when settled.
It should be noted that he was a known biter at the animal shelter however I have not experienced that side of him and have only known him to be affectionate and loving. However people unfamiliar to him should play it safe and offer their hand and let him show (via a lick) whether he is open to being patted.
My Ideal Home: Somewhere he can be a sidekick to a lovely person who wants to love on him all the time. He could live with other dogs or alone if you are home a lot.
What is Known About My Background: Milo was impounded with an American staffy he lived with, they were known to the shelter as they had been on the streets wandering prior to their latest impound.
He did have fleas and could be just a little heavier in weight.
He had warmed to some of the shelter staff but was known as a biter to those he did not know well who tried to handle him. The pound environment can be stressful and as of yet I have not experienced any nastiness and don‘t believe I will as he is very fond of me and comfortable being picked up and handled.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Milo has met a 4yr old whilst in my care and although the child was told to be very careful and not approach Milo first, Milo took an immediate liking to the boy and curled up on his pillow and was happy to be patted.
He is fine with other dogs and has taken a liking to my other foster dog Oslo. I‘m open to them being adopted together however it is not mandatory.
