All About Me and My Unique Personality: Badger is a gorgeous boy who just wants love! Initially he can be a little shy, but after a couple of days to settle, he just wants to be with you - sitting with you on the couch, sleeping snuggled up close, climbing into your lap and enjoying all pats. Badger is keen to have your affection whenever you offer it and is your little shadow as you walk around the house - he just always wants to be with you!
My Ideal Home: Badger is best suited to a calm home where he can feel safe and relaxed to come out of his shell. As with all Hunter Animal Rescue cats, he needs to be rehomed as indoors only or in a secure cat enclosure.
What is Known About My Background: Badger was brought to the pound before coming in to foster care with some severe chemical burns to his face. He has healed up beautifully, completed all his vet work (desex, vaccination and microchip) and is ready to find his forever home where he will be loved every day.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Badger is very chilled around other cats - they don't phase him at all, and he allows them to have their own space. For this reason, Badger should be very easy to introduce into a home with other cats. As Badger can be a little shy, he is best suited to a home without very young children, although if they visit the home, as long as he has a safe place to retreat to, he would be fine as he is very gentle. Badger has not been around dogs in foster care but may be fine after an appropriate introduction.
