Sabrina has eyes that make you melt, they are really the window to her soul. She has plenty of energy and loves to chew my old sandshoe and have a little tug of war. She is very affectionate and loves to lay on you or near you. She has a wonderful nature and gets on well with other dogs. She has not spent time around kids but i think if the kids were gentle with her, she would be ok. She had some accidents inside to start off with but hasn't had any for a couple of weeks. Once you see Sabrina in person i think you

Frankie came to care from a difficult situation. He is making up for lost time and loving life. Frankie LOVES to play! He is high energy but basically good dog, could use a bit of basic training to improve his manners. Lab cross possibly staffy. He does not chew or dig and only barks when there is something to bark at. Gets on well with other dogs of a similar size and temprement but HATES cats (not sure about other small animals or small dogs). Would make a great addition to an active family.

These little darlings have personality plus! Like all pups they love cuddling & rumbling! There are 2 boys and 1 girl all looking for their forever homes!

Tiger and Sheeba
Two amazingly friendly kittens. They are nearly 5 months old but enjoy a game as much as any kitten does. They are brother and sister but are happy to be on their own as well as enjoying eanch others company. He is a good looking Tabby and she is a slightly fluffy Torty. Individuals or together, either 1 or both of them would make a great addition to your family.

A NOTE ON PRIVATE SURRENDERS
The priority for HAR is rescue animals facing euthanasia at local pounds. Acceptance of surrender animals is dependent on a number of factors, most importantly the availability of an appropriate foster carer. This is the time of year when all pounds have an influx of animals. The pounds we work with are constantly full to capacity, as are our dedicated foster carers, so we are currently rarely able to accept private surrenders.
A $40 surrender fee applies.
If you need assistance with a dog please call 0401282301, for cat enquiries call 0434258260. Please give as much detail as you can, including reason for surrender and also the area the animal is located. You can also email details and a photograph of the animal in need, please reduce the size of the images under 250kbs. There is no gaurantee we will able to accept the animal. We suggest in addition to contacting us you also try some of the advice given in the links below.

Please understand many of the breed rescues are also full so they may not be able to accept your animal.
