All About Me and My Unique Personality: I am shy, but very inquisitive. It will take me a bit of time to adjust to a new home , but I will come around given some time and patience. I can be a bit skittish when I hear a loud noise or see something unfamiliar, but will settle quickly.
If you came to visit me I probably wont come up to you looking for pats, but I now love my foster mum and run to the door to greet her. I love pats and sitting in her lap for snuggles. I am getting braver every day. I know in the right home I will flourish into a lovely companion.
I have had a couple of applications for adoption but they have fallen through - so I'm back on the hunt for my forever home.
My Ideal Home: A quieter home would suit me best as I'm a bit of a scardy cat. I would be well suited to a couple with no kids - or kids 8 years or older. A retired person/ couple would also be a very good fit for me. I've learnt that pats and cuddles with people is actually really nice!
What is Known About My Background: My mum, brother and I were found in someones back shed. We had never been handled before so were very scared of people - we didn't want anything to do with humans. I have been in foster care for a month now and I am progressing really well. I am learning to trust people and will come out and play once I know there is nothing scary.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: I get along well with the other foster kittens who are different ages. I haven't been introduced to the adults cat yet, but as a kitten I would adapt well to an adult as long as its not aggressive and doesn't bully me.
I'm extremely playful, and play is the best way to win me over. I would love to come and sit in your lap, but am not really comfortable being picked up or restrained.
There are dogs in my foster home, but I haven't met them yet. I hear them bark and they do scare me a bit. I don't think I would suit a home with a large bouncy dog, but I think I'd adapt well to a mellow or small dog.
Kids 8 years or older would be best for me - as long as they are patient and gentle. I wont tolerate being picked up and carried around, but will happily chase a toy and purr lots who patted gently. It will just take a few days for me to learn to trust new people.
