All About Me and My Unique Personality: Ruby is a bit of a mother hen. She is in care with some kittens from another litter and is very pedantic about ensuring everyone is always looking their best and well groomed. She is full of energy and loves wrestling with the others. When she has exhausted herself from worrying about everyone else she loves a big sunny window to stretch out in front of. Toys are a bit of a new thing for Ruby and she is learning how fun they can be!
Ruby is a sweet little girl who would love to find her own special place in life. Having never experienced her very own home that had time for her she can’t wait to find her forever family.
My Ideal Home: After coming from a hoarding situation, a home that give her lots of attention and love would be ideal. A home committed to keeping Ruby safe in an indoor environment – like all HAR cats Ruby is being rehomed as an indoor kitten.
What is Known About My Background: Ruby and her sister were surrendered to a rural pound after starting their lives in a hoarding situation. Ruby’s sister is happily in her forever home and now Ruby is on the lookout for her very own family.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: Ruby has been in care with kittens and cats that are not from her litter and happily plays and grooms them all. If they are not receptive to her cleaning, she just holds them a little tighter!
She gives the resident dogs a bit of a hiss as they wander past but doesn’t really seem all that bothered by them. So I’m sure if her new home has dogs with kind introductions she would be perfectly happy.
Ruby is in care in the home of 3 children, including a 2 year old. They can carry her around and play with her no problems at all. She will become even more happy and content when she finds her very own home to settle and relax in to.
