All About Me and My Unique Personality: I am a fun loving boy with a soft and affectionate nature. I am equally as happy running around at a dog park as I am having a nap on the couch next to my foster Mum. I need a little bit of help discovering the big world out there because I can be a little bit timid, but I'm never aggressive or disobedient when I'm afraid, just quiet. I have never been in any scraps with other dogs despite going to off leash dog areas every single day. I definitely need this once a day outing though or I have a bit of trouble getting to sleep at night! I love to chew things but only when my foster mum puts them in my area before she goes to work for the day. I am not food motivated but am eating really well now and respond really well to praise.
My Ideal Home: I fit in well anywhere but really need some love and affection at some point during the day. As long as I am occupied, I am happy to stay home while you go to work but need exercise daily. I am great in the car and love going on adventures - I am even well behaved when staying at other people's houses! I absolutely love kids and playing with other dogs.
What is Known About My Background: I was surrendered to Muswellbrook pound as a little pup with my brother and then I spent some time on a property with five other dogs so I am very well socialised. I have no signs of trauma but am a little bit timid as I wasn't socialised or exposed to many things as a young boy. Some pack mentality aspects have affected how I eat but apart from that, I am a very well adjusted doggo.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: I love making friends wherever I go, no matter the species! My favourite thing to do is to go to the Tighes Hill dog park and run around with my friends off the leash. I could do that for hours and never get in a scrap! I am very curious about cats but they don't like me very much. I just give them the space they need after I've had a sniff. I am very gentle so would be great for kids but sometimes forget how quickly I've grown and can bump into things when I get excited!
