All About Me and My Unique Personality: Fern is an adorable little puppy, full of love and energy, who wants to follow you around, smother you with affection, and be your best friend. She will go from a whirlwind chasing you around to snuggled up for a snooze in your lap. Fern is a mixed breed puppy, likely with a fair amount of staffy in the mix, so is expected to grow to a medium size. She is dark brown/black/brindle - a little darker in colouring than her sister Sage.
Fern is the epitome of a healthy, thriving puppy who is growing quickly every day, loves chowing down on her dog biscuits and puppy milk. She is a sucker for any cuddles and attention she can get.
Fern's sister Sage is also available for adoption - they are very similar in nature, Fern being a little smaller and quieter with Sage being the leader. In the photos of both of them, Fern has the blue jacket.
My Ideal Home: Fern will need lots of attention especially whilst young to get her trained up and feeling secure in her new home, so she is seeking a home where someone will be home a lot of the time, and with someone able to dedicate considerable time to the toilet training and lead training process.
She is currently in care with a 1 and a 3 year old, and loves kids, though at this young puppy stage she loves to lick faces and jump all over children which young ones can find overwhelming. She is a great match with kids older than 5 that she has met.
Fern will need lots of daily stimulation so is seeking an active owner/family who will take her for daily walks and adventures to the beach etc, and endeavour to include Fern in their life as much as possible and treat her as a valuable member of the family.
What is Known About My Background: Fern came to a shelter as one of an unwanted litter of 6 puppies.
