About April

All About Me and My Unique Personality: April is a delightful and spirited young cat with an affectionate and playful nature. Though she may be a bit reserved initially, once she feels at ease, her true personality shines through. She loves to run around and have play sessions with her favorite toys and will often wind down by joining her foster carer on the lounge for a sleep on her lap.

In her foster home, April’s personality has truly blossomed. She spends her time exploring the house, playing with her toys, and chattering at birds through the window. She loves to sleep on your lap and will climb into it at any given opportunity. At the end of the day, she curls up on the bed to join her foster carer for a good nights sleep.

April’s endearing combination of playfulness and affection makes her a wonderful companion, and she is sure to bring joy and love to her forever home.

My Ideal Home: Due to her shy nature, April would be best suited to a quiet home. She will need to be kept safely indoors.

What is Known About My Background: April ended up in foster care after going unclaimed at the pound.

How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets: April doesn’t mind being around other cats. She has not been tested with dogs. Due to her shy nature, older children would be best.

HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1. Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2. If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3. If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4. 4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
Please understand that by filling in this form, it by no means guarantees that you will be successful in the adoption process, nor does it obligate you to adopt.
To complete this form an attachment must accompany this application regarding housing status. Either landlord approval to have an animal at the premises, or proof of home ownership.
