Scollie update 28 December 2009

Hi Aunty Denise & Uncle Shane,

I thought I'd let you know how life is going for me (which is pretty good) .............here I am trying to hide in Mum's bedroom window (I think she sprung me)

Here I am trying to figure out what Mum touches up there to make the door open while Oscar keeps his eye on the prey in case we figure out how to break out.......

.....and of course after a hard days work there's nothing better than to kick back on the bed and just let it all hang out.....and Oscar and I just love sleeping on freshly laundered bed linen

.....and on hot days I just melt in front of the door on my hammock bed

Oh! And mum bought herself a new vacuum cleaner and WOW! do I love sleeping in the box........it's so cool in there, I still don't go outside so it's like my own private indoor cave.

Well, that's all from me for now........hello to all the other little kittens that you so kindly care for, I know you'll find them great homes just like you did for me :)

Lots of love
Scollie
XOXOXOX

Seamus (pron. Shay-mus)!

Hey Paul!

How are you? Good to hear from you.

All is going well with Linc who is now known as Seamus (pron. Shay-mus)! We ended up changing his name sort of accidentally when I started nicknaming him Seamus to reflect his Irish heritage! It seemed to fit his funny, scruffy personality and has stuck!

We moved house at Easter time but only to Jewells so not very far from where we were. The boys don't have quite as much of a yard to romp around in but then we mostly walk them in at the beach (Merewether / Bar beach) where I bumped into you that time. We don't have a pool anymore but plan on taking Seamus to Dog Overboard when the weather warms up a bit more. He practically spent the summer in the pool at the other house - it was a challenge to keep him out of the water!

Seamus is going really well and he and Chester are great mates. Chester had some major surgery about 2 weeks ago to remove a very aggressive tumour from his jaw (they actually had to remove over half of his lower jaw) but he has recovered very well.  I think having his mate around has really helped that and Seamus seemed to know to take it a bit easy with him for the first few days - we even saw him licking Chester's face at one point! Such love!

We are expecting a non-canine baby in about 6 weeks time which I'm sure will bring about some big changes but I'm sure we'll all adjust! I'm actually looking forward to getting out and about with dogs and pram in the not too distant future!

I have attached a couple of pics for you.

I hope you guys and your 4 legged kids are all going well.

Cheers

Prue

MYAH

Hi Guys,
Just thought we would thank you so much for Myah, she has settled in to the Brogden household
really well as you can see by the pic. She is with her brother Oliver and they get on like a house
on fire.

Hope you have a good Chrissy and a very healthy happy new year.
Best wishes
Sue, Warren, Oliver, Meggs and Myah Brogden

ANGUS

Hi Kim,

Hope all is well.  We wanted to say Merry Christmas and thankyou again for getting Angus into our lives.

He's growing into a real character, and becoming very obedient.  He has lots of friends now from walking at the park and down the beach, and is even starting to swim in the surf.

Have a great Christmas and Happy New Year.

Asher Johnston

BANDIT

Sorry I took so long to get back to you, all is well with Bandit. Yes he still loves making friends at the dog beach - we take him there every Saturday morning! He is also getting along much better with the cats (see some pics I attached for you).

FLUFFY

Hey Alisha,  Thought id send you some photos of fluffy as promised. He has fitted in so well we love him like one of the family, Hes such a cuddle pot! Thanx Alisha and HAR!  Sammi

Jet

Hi Tracey and Kirt,

Sorry it has taken so long to email you. Life has been a little busy.
We love having Jet and he gets on well with our cat and other family members pets. He goes for a walk every
morning and people are always stopping us saying how cute he is and what a great dog he is.
We are looking forward to summer so we can take him to the beach and for a swim!
He has yet to do some obedience training, but the naughtest thing he has done is chewed some plants in the garden!
Jet has been a great addition to our family and he will be a great big brother to our baby which we are
expecting in March 2010!

We love having Jet, it's hard to imagine that anyone would dump him!
Enjoy the pictures!     Cynthia and Brent

Choco

Dear Alisha,

I thought I'd send some pictures of our delightful little man Poco, formerly Chiko or Chocco! He is a toy poodle who has stolen our hearts and has run of the house! He is my daughter's best friend and I often hear her calling him 'my gorgeous boy' and she is only 2! She tells him she loves him all the time and they play together beautifully. The foster carer who had him was an absolute angel and I can't thank her enough for her assistance in setting us up with this wonderful dog. We have even taken Poco for a play date with her two dogs. The work that HAR does is fabulous so keep up the hard work and the contributions that you do to help our little friends. Thank you again for this valuable service. I've been telling everyone of the great work that you do!!

Kind Regards   Meredith

Rufus

Hi Kim,

Sorry for not letting you know things have been very very busy! :) Yes everything is going very well and he has settled in perfectly! We cannot believe how much of a well behaved dog he is!!! :) We have been trialling him this week with the new electric fence/ collar system that he was used to with you and it has been working great so he now has a rather big space/ yard to run around in during the day when he is on his own and seems to enjoy it with all his toys! Has also found the dam and often go's for a swim when we let him past the fence! We are very happy to have Rufus as a new addition to our family, thank you!

Can send you more photos if you like as we have been taking plenty! :)

Regards,
Amanda and Anthony

Hi, my name is Andy and the ginger boy over there is my brother Hamish.
I thought you'd like to hear our story.

Early this year a lovely lady named Sue and her daughter Sarah, found me and my 5 brothers and sisters hiding with our mum in an old abandoned building. We were in a hole in the wall and only tiny, a few weeks old.  We were surviving on a dead rat. It's the best our mum could do. Sue took us home but mum ran away scared. Sue went back to find her but she was gone.

Our new mum Sue looked after us really well. She gave us lots of food that we'd never had before, it was delicious. We ate and ate and ate. Our bed was warm and we got lots and lots of love.

HAMISH: Don't forget the toys Andy. lots and lots of toys!!

We were adopted at 8 weeks by Lyn and her mum Billy.
All my siblings were adopted by other families too.

I think Lyn adopted me to help her look after Billy. I sit on her lap and keep her company while Lyn's at work, I'm careful not to get in her way and when she goes to hospital I wait patiently for her to come home. I check out the homecare ladies to make sure their nice. Lyn didn't have to tell me to be careful of my claws on her delicate skin, I already knew that. I am
always gentle. Hamish likes her too but he's silly. I'm very protective of Billy, but occasionally I'll pretend I'm asleep so Hamish can have a cuddle.
I watch him though, to make sure he is behaving.

HAMISH: I love Billy too but Lyn is my favourite. She gives me lots of hugs and pats. We have lots of fun and she always feeds me. I like my food. That Andy thinks he's the boss and doesn't like me near Billy. But sometimes when he's asleep I sneak a cuddle. He thinks he's so smart, if only he knew what I was up too.

I have some important jobs at my house. I wake Lyn up for work every morning. I don't like the noisy clock in her room, so I make sure she gets up looong before it turns on. That way she won't get woken up by anything annoying. I also help Lyn brush her teeth. I splash water all over the bathroom sink for her, she loves me doing that. Billy lost her teeth, but I found them. They were next to her bed where they always are. I scooted them across the floor to her, she was very grateful. She even stamped her foot. I knew Lyn had the day off and needed something to do. So I ate some string just for her. I'm so clever it came out both ends. She took me to visit one of her friends, he wanted to look at me. He checked me all over. I guess he wants a cat too? She loves showing me off. She even gave him money, she must have been really happy with me. As you can see my most important job is keeping Lyn busy. I have this special game I play with her. It keeps her fit. I jump on the kitchen bench and she chases me out of the kitchen. I do it over and over and over again. I know when she is really enjoying it because she starts to call my name louder and louder. She especially likes to play it when she's cooking. When she brings the squirt bottle out, I know she's really having fun.

There's only one thing I don't understand. Lyn talks to me about this boy named Fabio. She holds me like a baby and tells me he is the most beautiful boy in the whole world, but he doesn't have any brains. He must be important to her because she talks about him a lot and sometimes calls me his name by mistake. Lucky I don't get jealous.

Come to think of it I bet its that dumb ginger cat in the mirror. He sure is
stupid, you think he'd know by now, its only me looking at him.

ANDY:   Well that's a little bit about us, we have a great life now. We are really blessed. We are lucky.
Oh no...I have to go.. Hamish has his head stuck in the bin again..
Its alright Lyn, I'm coming
My work is never done, I can't believe we're related.

HI Bre and Rob,
Just a quick update as to whats happening with Jed...(previously Dude)

He's now very settled and happy... his cough is gone and he is very well behaved.. He knows when he's inside he has to be on his bed or blanket.. not running around - he's learnt that already. He also has learned to stay and yesterday i've now got him to "say hello" by giving me his paw.
We've realised that he  is a creature of habit, he loves nothing more than sitting with Glen and I on his blanket on the lounge floor with us. Last night we forgot to invite him in ( he sleeps in the kitchen/sitting room) - Jed decided to come in by himself and sit with us.. he's so cute.
We cant thank you enough for our baby.. thank you for the wonderful job you do...
Feel free to call anytime to check on him.
Sarah
PS; as i sit her and type, he is farting like you wouldn't believe!! smelly dog! ( he had a sardine iceblock earlier lol)

Hey Bre and Rob,

Holly's doing great!
We were very nervous on Monday as it was her first day alone for a long time. We did the 'put her out back and spy on her for an hour or so' and she did ok but we were still concerned parents.....So in order to buy her love, we went to the butcher and bought what looked like the femur of a cow! It was about the same size of her and seemed to do the trick...
Jen found it quite amusing when she tried to bring it inside so the other dogs couldn't steal it........Also very funny when she tried to take it into her kennel and it was too long to be taken in and banged up against the sides of the door....ha ha ha.....
Hope the others arn't causing too much havoc and we'll send through more pics as we take em!

Hey bre and rob,

Just a quick update to let you know that she is a real sweetie (as you know) and she settled in immediately as my son's dog, Bud, was here.  They had a lovely time together but he has had to go home tonight so she has spent a lot of time asleep or lying on either me or Robert.  She barks at the cats but they are keeping their distance for now and we have had a few puddles when we have not been quick enough but she will now go outside if we make sure we take her out regularly.  Cerys is sleeping downstairs with her at night but when she is housetrained she will probably be allowed the run of the house.  She is such a good girl - we have a plastic lizard sitting on a stone outside and she got it straight away but as soon as we told her no she left it alone and I love the way she sits when you put her food in her dish and waits until she is told she can have it.  You must have taught her that.  She is an intelligent and playful little lady and we are all absolutely delighted with her.
Regards, Frances & Bob

     Hi Bri & Rob
Jango has settled in very well & is a very well behaved puppy. She has been great with her toilet training knocking on the door to go outside after only three days, she is very responsive & smart, is loving Monte & they play together really well. She has been surprisingly respectful of my cats, Cosmos & Jai, not scared or timid but contained as she is with a number of canine friends she has met so far... my world is filled with people with dogs. She has had her final vacc. & today got her stitches out. She has been to the beach a number of times & had her first bushwalk on Sunday. She is inquisitve & curious but is great off leash & always  stays close by, checks in on me & comes when called. She has been quite nervous in the car but each day has gotten more relaxed with it because it always results in FUN!!! Today was  a big step forward in that process when she came straight to the car & tried to jump in on her own... its no longer the scary monster! She is great with the kids, Angelique 7 & Josh 4 & loves to play with them. She is a very happy & contented puppy & is loving life. Some photos to follow & I will send some more down the track.
From Jango's happy & contented mum.
Love & licks from Jango Hope

It's been along time comming but we promised you an update on Lady.

We fell in love with Lady when we saw her on your web site in April. Her discription fitted us to a t. It was a long trip from the Sunshine Coast in QLD. to Newcastle.

She was excellent in the car on the way home.We drove straight through stopping only for pit stops of course. She's taken awhile to setle in. She had to learn to share and not be me me me all the time; having come from a one dog home(as far as we know). We had a few problems and thought we might have to send her back at one stage. But we are all OK and back on track after getting Barkbusters in to help
with the situation.Lady loves going in the car, going for walks along the Maroochy River,
running in the back yard, playing ball and loves Torty ( the cat who is
17). She has come to love  her sisters Belle (10yrs) and Bonnie(4 1/2
yrs) and realises her new Mummy and Daddy love everyone equally.
Lady has settled in well now and has calmed down and is still learning
manners.
A LITTLE STORY FROM LADY: hello foster mummy. i have really fallen on my feet at this new place. i have sisters to play with and heaps of toys and 1 1/4 acres to run on. i got rid of all my fleas and i don't itch
much anymore. my hair has gotten thick and doesn't smell anymore because my mummy has special shampoo and she baths us in her hydro bath .  i put 2kgs on. i look and feel the best i ever have. i have had training to do , but it is fun. i am learning my manners.  my mummy made me my own pair of Jym Jams to keep me warm on those cold nights as we have to sleep outside up here. it is warming up now and soon we will be swimming in the pool, this sounds like fun. i even visit my Grand-ma and Grand-dad who have 100 acres. i love it here. A big thank you to you Kylie for letting us come all the way down to Newcastle to get Lady.   Michelle and Ross Lots of licks from us too!  Belle, Bonnie and Lady (meow from Torty).

SHEF (was Max)

Hi Bre,  My name's Allison and We adopted 'Max" off you guys back last year, I thought its about time I sent u an update and some pics! Firstly I don't know if you recall but we changed his name to Shef. He has grown into a sook!!! I take full blame for it too! lol he's my baby! He still thinks he's little sometimes, he trys to sit on you or walks on your feet..and it hurts! We still havent figured out what breed is his, everyone has a different opinion, the favourite is german shepard x We dont know! lol The vet thinks he's definitly shepard, but really I don't care, he's adorable! He went to see santa at xmas time, and he was scared! One of the biggest dogs there, and more scared than the smallest!  He had a rough patch in december, his big brother kitty was killed by a car, the saddest thing was watching Shef look for him and lay with his things. But we got a new kitten since, and Shef is so good with him, they play fight, eat together, sleep, Cody even licks shef clean! If Cody hides somewhere Shef can't fit he will cry till he comes out! Its absolutly adorable and heartwarming to watch! Also we discovered Shef has dermititas, he has special cream for break outs, but he's going back to his Dr on monday because he has some thinning bits of  fur im concerned about. Well I think thats about all thats new, Have you heard from his brothers or sisters? I would love to see a photo! I hope you enjoyed this update and his pics!    From Allison..

Megs - 01.03.09

Hi Nicole
As promised, some pics of Megs in her new home. Shes so tolerant...see her in the bandages playing hospitals with Miss 3. A real sweetie. She always  sits with us on the computers, and generally hangs out with us. we simply adore her.

 thanks again

   kate (megs, and the rest)

Tarrie, Angie (Tarrie's kitten) and Rosie (was Zara).  1.03.09

My family have over a couple of months had the pleasure of adopting two kittens and one older cat from HAR and what a wonderful experience it has all been. We adopted Tarrie, Angie (Tarrie's kitten) and Rosie (was Zara).

I cannot say enough about the dedication and professionalism Jennah and Kerryn showed throughout what may have been a worrying time. All three had a few health hiccups with cat flu which have resolved 100% with no vet costs....a few phone calls to and from Kerryn :-) and many  laughs.

Thank you HAR for caring for our girls until they joined and became a part of our rather large family. Having adopted many animals before,
the difference in the settling of your pets compared to others purchased elsewhere into our family was huge. Never have new four legged family members blended so easily and perfectly. I believe because they are cared for the way they are before finding their forever home just makes them happier more contented cats. It really does make a huge difference.

Each of the girls has a different personality trait but have each found their place in our family. Angie is the most affectionate cat we
have ever had and has a glowing personality that even our most stubborn cats are partial to, not to mention her surprising ability to
play fetch. Rosie has an adorable face that makes us all melt. She won't take any bluff from any of the other cats but at the same time
makes friends as easily as her foster sister Angie; finding a friend in our own gentle giant Gizmo. Tarrie is a beautiful cat that has emotionally touched us all. She is the string that ties this little part of our family together; having a maternal role that she takes very seriously even with the other members of our four-legged family.

Without HAR we wouldn't have been able to have these gorgeous animals amongst our family. You all do a wonderful job and I hope others continue to be given the rewarding opportunity we have by adopting one of your truly special animals.

Thank you to everyone at HAR and particularly all the people who make it possible for animals who come from harsh backgrounds to be given a second chance.

Here is a recent photo of our gorgeous girls ...thank you HAR.

MONTY

Hi Alisha.

Monty is looking very handsome after getting the works at Absolutely Pampered Pets so I had to send you a picture.

Thank you so much for introducing us to Monty, the whole adoption process was a pleasure and he is now a much loved member

of our family. Many thanks also for all the advice and information on how to care for him.

regards Naomi

RALPH   (formerly Popeye)

We adopted Ralph earlier in the year (end of April ? I think), and I promised Joanne that I would send through a photo and let her know how he was doing. Ralph is so small and he wasn?t in the best shape.  Our first day was one I?ll remember ? he managed to get under the house and wouldn?t come out.  We tried every type of treat there is, and patrolled the outside of the house for hours.  I eventually called Jo, who was so calm and reassuring.  She told me just to leave him alone and leave the back door open and he would eventually come in.  True to form, I was in the kitchen later in the day and he just strolled in behind me. Ralph has come such a long way since then, still very wary of people he doesn?t know, but he loves to play with our other dogs, loves to go for a walk and has his spot right in front of the fire on a cold night (even though his coat has grown quite nicely now). This picture shows Ralph taking it easy on the arm of the lounge chair!

Thank you HAR. Regards, Karen and Ken

BUNDI

Hi Bre,

I took Bundi to the beach yest. morn to Stocko and let him run and play  with another dog and the odd fella doing the surf check. He also tried
to follow me out when I went in. I turned around to find that he got  covered by a shoredump. One minute he was dry ..next drenched with big
floppy ears, with a look of "woa what happened then". But he hung around and enjoyed himself by chasing seagulls and playing with a mates staffy.A good first for him.Last time we were there he ran free but I was with him. So he knows that when he goes in the 4wd he going somewhere cool.  Kell

  BILLIE aka Roxy

Billie was dumped at the pound with her mother Jemma and 3 siblings at only 4 weeks old

Just a little note of encouragement to all you beautiful HARS people!
.I have not excluded myself , yet , from doing , in the future,  what you guys do ,  but,  I  have only increased my desire to TRY someday ,  to do so because you have inspired me so!,!  After meeting you and seeing close up just what you do, and beginning to understanding just how challenging it must be to raise foster animals, I have only the greatest amount of respect and feelings of gratitude to you all!

Afterall, you were the ones whom were able to give me my beautiful Billie!!! .And, Boy!, is she a dog or what!?!  She has certainly shown herself to be a dog of  extraordinary credits:- * desire to learn ,* gentleness,* a willingness to please * enjoyment in obedience, * intense focus on her "mum" (me), *loyalty to all 4 family members (kids included!), * devotion (sleeps by my side til I wake despite the arousal factor in the household,) *extraordinarily patient and tolerant of being left alone for the 2 days I work, (bbut BOY does she LLLOOOVVEE MEEE when I get home!!), *loving of all 2 legged "dogs" as well as the 4 legged variety,*excelling in puppy classes,* always having a 'smile ' on her face..etc.

The taking on of a dog of unknown history ,purely to save the pups, purely because they should be given a chance ,- as everyone should be,- is a really admirable quality of philosophy of your organisation and not always found today.
But had you not done so then our extraordinary little Billie would not have had the chance to shine as she has already done so in her few short weeks so far.

So, THANKYOU, for many aspects of your work...
But, Mostly, THANKYOU , for giving us the bestest little dog we have met for a very long time!!
We have many photos on our phone cameras but, as yet ,have not worked out how to down load them.. but we will. You should see just how cute she looks with her one Kelpie ear up, and , her one  (?) Staffie ear twisting around  sideways. She was sleeping in the basket, on the floor ,next to me ,quite happily until my husband encouraged her up on the bed ,too often, ....and , now, she sleeps next to me, all night on my bed! (with my"dog-hating-cat" right next to her!) What a life!!!

I will be in touch soon with those lovely pics! Until then, please keep safe and well, and wishing all those special dogs waiting for their forever homes  much health and good luck!

             Sincerely,
             Sarah Mochrie

 ROSCOE
He plays happily in the back yard and today he did an under the floor inspection when he found the only TINY little access under the house. Joe and I were home and we could hear him barking on opposite sides of the house in no time flat. He had managed to break his way through the cracks (that are no longer there of course!) This morning I went out to meet him munching on an empty washing detergent box (clothes) which he had managed to retrieve from the laundry he no longer has ready access there!!!

As you said he was meant to be part of us. He already knows each one of us and he seems to be very happy here. Thank you again for trusting him to us. We love him already! It is pure joy for me to watch Joe with him and him with Joe.

You could write an entire thesis on the life of Roscoe. He is so wonderful. He has had a regular bath time, he is the lord of our house, Patricia wanted to take him away with her to Port Macquarie. He is growing and eating and loving being king of our back yard!

KOMBI

Kombi was one pup of a litter of 5 who were dumped on a council rangers doorstep at 3am one morning, The attached note simply read "Lab x, wormed at 6 weeks". They were rescued from the pound the day before the Newcastle floods. Her ner owner adopted Kombi on his Birthday!

Hi Belinda, Just wanted to tell you how well kombi is going.
She is the best present anyone could ever ask for.
She is so lovely to have around the house,
I love her to bits and so does everyone else.
Mum was telling everyone how she just fell in love with her.
Would love to come to the HAR reunion day in March. Can't wait to see all the other dogs. They are so cute!
Thank you so much, You do a great job!
Can't wait to catch up with you. Thanks Again,Mitchell & Joanne.

MOCHA formerly known as Machiato and
BILLY formerly known as TW

Hello Tara and Belinda,
Sorry it has taken so long for us to get back to you with the photo's and our little story.

As you can see in the photo's our two little puppies that we got from you are just a little spoilt. BILLY who was know as TW is growing so much we can't keep up with him and as for MOCHA known as MACHIATO well she is still a little princess.
As you know when we got mocha from you she could not cope at all on her own so we had to make the decision to take her back which broke our hearts, so then we rang you to see about her sister, but she had a wonderful family to go to. That's when we found out that Mocha had the other half of her family living with another carer. We went around to find a play mate for Mocha and we got Billy(TW) and ever since they have been the best of friends.

Together they have done many things - going to the beach, parks, puppy training (which we are still working on) and many other activities as you can see. We were having problems with the two of them getting out through digging major holes in our back yard so that's when we got them a sandpit to play in then came the swimming pool to swim in and then the two beds plus a kennel and jacket to keep them warm and jackets to keep them dry and as you can tell by the list as i said just a little spoilt.

As you can see by the photo's they do love their toys and there food. Billy has issues with sharing food and the toys and Mocha has issues with sharing the bed and Billy coming on her walks so when they have finish fighting about those issues there is not much time left in the day for them to do much else. But when all is said and done they sleep together , eat together and hate being apart from each other.

Christmas would not have been the same without them and they were very happy that Santa knew where they were to drop there toys around, Billy and Mocha are lucky they he put them in the good list and Santa didn't brake his leg in the holes in the back yard when he stopped in. Billy and Mocha are also lucky that Santa didn't stick around the next day to see the fights over the christmas toys. (true love).

I think that Mocha having a friend was the best thing that we could have ever done as there was no way she was going back.. Well i hope that you enjoy the photo's and are shocked at how big Billy is now and how cute they both are..I hope that one day you will see them out and about (with us of course).. Thank you heaps for giving us our wonderful gifts... They are the best fun ever.

Kathryn and Simon Campise

P.S. Is there any way you could put the any of the photo of them in the next calendar on there birthday which is the 08/07/08 they will be turning 1.

NOTE FROM CARER -Mocha's sister Miss Moo (fomerly known as Mocha) has a success story further down.

 BELLA

Just thought that I'd give you an update on Bella and I have attatched some

current photos so that you can see how much she's grown (another story for your success page).

When I first saw Bella, my heart melted. She was so cute,

with those little ears that always sit up, she was playing with her

foster brother and stealing her foster mum's shoes.

I knew the minute I saw her that it was fate that she had been returned,

that she was meant to live with me and so she came home.

Bella is such a beautiful baby, she loves nothing more than to be

surrounded by people and other dogs. She graduated from puppy pre-school

with flying colours and she has even had swimming lessons.

She also enjoys helping her Pop with the gardening (he's not so keen).

In the new year we will be starting some obedience training too.

 NESSIE
Nessie is one of a litter of eight pups born in care
 Hi Girls,

We thought you might be interested in an update on Nessie - she is going very well. She really is the BEST puppy. We took her to puppy pre-school for the first time on Monday, which was good fun, she is learning very quickly. She now knows sit and stay. She also plays fetch with her squeaky soccer ball, the clever thing! Nessie is walking extremely well on the lead, and every day we take her to see the lake, which she really enjoys - she splashes around at the shore but she's not quite ready to go swimming in it yet. Have you heard anything of her brothers and sisters? And how is her Mum? I have attached some photos, I think she has grown a fair bit! Hope you guys and all the other dogs are going well.

MISS MOO aka MOCHA
Hi Belinda and Mandy,

Miss Moo has settled in very well and follows Madeleine around like a shadow. They spend lots of time playing outside and running around. Toilet training is going really well - she now stands at the door and barks for us to take her out (Madeleine could not believe how many puddles one tiny puppy can make!). Loves her toys, always on the go chasing balls or throwing her toys around. She has a stuffed cow that she has become very attached to and takes to bed each night.

The vet was very taken with her last week when she had her C5 needle and a general check up. The kids all love her, she is just so playful and energetic. Miss Moo loves all the kids too, she thinks they are lollipops and licks them rather than biting. Oreo the rabbit, Harry the guinea pig and Cheeky the budgie all like having her around too. We haven't left them together unsupervised (and won't be for quite a while) but they do all seem to get along quite well.

We love her to bits, she is a fantastic little dog and so very cute. Thank you for taking such good care of her, the world needs more people like you.
