ROMEO
- Silky x Cresty

Romeo! Oh Romeo!

Animal Number: 10023
Name: Romeo
Breed: Silky X Chinese Crested
Age: Between 1 and 2 years
Size: Small

Suitable for children: Perfect for a home with children. He will need exercise and the energy from children will do him the world of good. He is friendly and not aggressive.

Ideal home: A family environment will be perfect for Romeo. Some kids to play with and maybe even another dog. Romeo is dog friendly and loves to play. He needs to be an indoors dog because he is prone to sunburn. He can be outside during the day if there is alot of shade. Would suit a paved back yard.

A bit about me: My foster mum called me Romeo because I am very affectionate. I love to play and love walks. I'm happiest with a doggie friend to play with but I won't mind if I'm an only dog. I have some skin allergies which the vet says could be from the grass. We are hoping they are only seasonal and go away soon but it is something my new family will need to monitor.

ANGUS - 8 year old Maltese

i need a home

......... Meet Little Angey .....

Breed: Maltese

Age: 29/10/2001 - 8 years old

Size: Small - 7 kg approx.

Suitable for children: Fine with kids

Ideal home: That lets him be inside and involves angus in heir daily life. Will take him on short walks.  Would be a terrific companion for an older owner

A bit about me: Angus has been surrendered to HAR. His previous owners treated Angus like a baby (he was spoiled rotten)

This allowed angus to be top dog and started to growl & snap when he was asked to to something he didn't want to do.

We have placed Angus with three different foster carers to test him out and he has been a complete angel!!!!

He is very affectionate and gorgeous. Angus greets you each day by dancing on his hind legs. He is 100% toilet trained and him doesn't bark much

He knows how to sit, drop and stay. Terrific on the lead. He is good with other dogs bu he has no interest in them.

Angus loves sitting on the lounge watching TV. Angus is in great health.. Angus does get a little bit nervous in the car.

(photo is when angus had longer hair, he was recently clipped. updated pics coming soon)

Small Breed dogs on average live to 16 years approx.

COMET - 6 years old - Jack Russell x Tenterfield Terrier - Male

i need a home i need a home

Comet is a unique boy with unique personality! He is a confident dog and is not needy or intensely affectionate, but he loves to curl up with you for pats and scratches or just for love! He is great on a lead, is fine with cats but likes chasing and barking at birds. Comet would be suitable as an only dog or with a non-hyperactive dog (preferably female as he is a bossy alpha male). He is tolerant of kids but most suited for a family with children over 10 as he loves little ankles! Comet would ideally have a mix of being inside and outside, having a warm sleeping place inside. He likes playing chasies and loves playing ball and loves chewing them too! He has these amazing penetrating dark amber eyes and is intensely interested in human behaviour and everything you do, a true companion.

If you think you could look into Comet’s beautiful eyes forever and show him what love feels like, contact me!

Animal Name: Radar

Breed: Aust Terrier x

Radar is a small boy approximately 11 months old. Radar loves to play with all his foster dog friends. Radar would be best suited to a home with another small dog or in a single dog home that allowed lots of socilaisiation with other dogs.

Radar is a gutsy little guy who likes to play hard all day and hug a human all evening until bedtime. Very easy to train for those who know how and loves being told he's a good boy.

Radar is a guard dog at heart so his energy needs to be directed to a positive outlet such as daily walks and/or play time.

He is good with older kids and has learned a lot about cat/chicken etiquette in his foster home.
