Puppies for Adoption at Hunter Animal Rescue
All puppies come Desexed, Microchipped, with their initial two vaccinations. A two week trial period is given for all new owners
All puppies have an Adoption fee of $350 unless otherwise stated.

TIGER - Staffy x, 18 weeks @ 5/8
Tiger is the most handsome puppy- he is built with big shoulderblades. We anticipate he will grow into a medium-large size dog
I think his legs are too big for his body but I'm sure he will grow into them in no time. As you can see from his pictures he is a very fun loving dog; his favourite thing is to laze around in the sun but when its time to play he is as bouncy as anything!!
Just like his sister Josie, Tiger is very bright he's learnt to sit and knows he's not allowed to jump up. He loves his walks and is learning how to walk on a leash. His ears are too big for his puppy head so they sit very awkwardly ontop of his head.. absolutely adorable!! If you sit down he'll park himself right next to you and look up longingly for a cuddle. You can't resist!

JOSIE-Staffy x, F, 18 weeks @ 5/8
Josie is smaller than her brother Tiger, but her personality is just as big! She loves her chew toys, food, walks and snuggling up in bed with her big bro. Josie is very intelligent and is very fast at learning commands! She knows if she wants anything all she has to do is sit quietly and look up at me with her big puppy eyes. She is growing very fond of her daily walks but it does tire out her little puppy legs!
She is currently living outside and sleeping in the shed but does love to come inside occassionally. Josie has a very big bark for a small dog but only barks when strangers come into my yard. Words can't express how beautiful little Josie is!

ZAC- Staffy x, 14 weeks, M
Zac is a very happy playful energetic pup who loves your attention.. He is very smart and interested in absolutely everything. He is not a chewer or a barker and can already sit on command!! Zac gets along with other dogs very well and is a delight to have around. He will be a medium size dog.

HUMPHREY - Staffy x, 14 weeks, M
Humphrey is a beautiful natured pup who loves cuddles and play time. When i am not home he is happy to play in the back yard and never cries and rarely barks. He is starting to learn tricks and commands. I would assume that Humphrey would grow to a med to large dog.

FLUFFY - Maltese x Silky, 5 mths, M
Fluffy is working very hard at toilet training and only has the very occassional accident (95% there). He is a gorgeous little guy who has stolen his carers heart, I will be sad to see him go. Fluffy loves people, especially kids.

Jess - Staffy x, F, 18 weeks@ 5/8
Jess is a lovely cute little girl and like most puppies love lots of cuddles, but she is also quite independent. She is house trained except for the occasional little accident and enjoys going for walks with the big dogs. She loves playing with her toys and has great games of tug-o-war with her sister Molly. Jess is the quieter of the two, but this adds to her cuteness as you just want to hold her all the time. As puppies go she is very easy to care for as long as she has her toys to chew. At this stage she is best kept inside at night with good shelter in the day as her coat is not very thick. She sleeps very well in her basket. We anticipate Jess will grow to be a large medium to large.

Molly - Staffy x, F, 18 weeks @ 5/8
Molly is a gorgeous puppy with a loving nature, and like her sister Jess loves her toys and going for walks with their big sister Talulah. She is almost fully house trained except for a little accident now and again, she also walks really well on her lead. She is at her happiest when playing with her sister, but also loves cuddles from anyone who would like to help her out. She is an easy puppy to have around as long as she has her toys. At this stage she is best kept inside at night, and good shelter in the day as her coat is not very thick. She sleeps very well in her basket. We anticipate Jess will grow to be a large medium to large

TOPSY - Shar Pei x, 1M 2F, 16 weeks @ 10/8
These little guys were born in the pound on Anzac morning. Mum is a Shar pei x Lab and dad is a mystery. From the appearence of the puppies we are assuming there is cattle in some of the pups. They are all lovely pups- fun, playful, cuddly and sweet.
Topsy is the rolly polly pup, a big snuggler! He is smart pup and would be very trainable.

DUKE & SPENCER - Foxy x Whippet x, M, 9 weeks @ 3/8 DOB 1/6
Duke and his little brother Spencer, are two very sweet natured and lovely puppies. Duke is the bigger of the two and is very cuddly. He enjoys sleeping and playing and is already quite obedient.
Spencer is Duke's little brother, and loves adventures. He is contagiously playful and loves to kiss and cuddle. Spencer also has the most adorable brown markings on his face.
Mum was a whippet and dad a foxy x, dad was slightly bigger and stockier then a standard foxy
These two brothers adore each other, and if at all possible, we would like them to go to a new home together. They have only been with our household for a week and they are already the most loving and loyal dogs. We will be very sad to see them go, but we know they will make their new families very happy.

Harry (M), - 4 months @ 20/7
My name is Harry and i am a brindle staffy cross puppy. I get along great with other dogs...big or small...girls or boys. i am not an overly energic dog like some staffy's are...i just go about my day...eating,...sleeping...lying in the sun....playing with my toys and my doggie friends. Because i love other dogs i would love to go to a home with another doggie to play with and keep me warm at night...unless of course i can come and sleep with you. I dont winge at the back door, i am not food possessive and i dont really lick either...but i do love my food. i am happy to sleep indoors or out...as long as i am warm. I am a placid pup and only really bark when i want the other doggies to play with me and they wont wake up!!! i like to play fetch and tug-o-war.
If you want to meet me to see what i am like call my foster parents and i will put on my puppy eyes when you come to my place and hopefully i will be leaving with you....

ELLIE, (F) - Mastiff x 8 weeks @ 2/7/08, DOB 7/5/08
Ellie is the smallest from a litter of mastiff x puppies and a little quieter than her siblings who are staying with us, who are two bouncy boys. She is also a little shy at times but loves a game with her brothers, a human or a soft toy. Ellie is learning to fetch the ball, and comes when called. As a puppy she still sleeps a lot and if allowed loves to cuddle on a warm knee and dream! She is good with our little dog, cat and chickens.

This adorable girl is cute and playful – she gets on well with the other dogs – she is quick, she barged into the house and found the most comfortable spot and settled in – she is not going to be large, she is perhaps crossed with a Border Collie – Pixie will make a wonderful addition to any family.

DOT - Kelpie x, 4 months @ 20/7/08
Adorable, fun and does’t like to sit still for photos (these pictures don’t do her justice)!
Named Dot because she was little more than a speck when she first arrived in care, this little girl is the baby of the family. Dot is the most discerning pup in the group. She’s a wise soul and has a way of looking at you that implies she knows something you don’t. Her nature is quite reserved and it can take a while to convince her you’re worth the trouble, but when you do she rewards with plenty of love and affection. Dot has a funny little stumpy tail that she likes to chase……without much success. She is also the world’s best sleeper and will only very reluctantly drag herself out of a nice warm bed to go outside. Dot proves the saying true that good things come in small packages.
Come and visit this little furry family and i'm sure you won’t leave empty handed!
