As HAR rehome rescue animals carers then gain places to be able to rescue more special animals from local Animal Care Facilities. Local Animal Care Facilities have great respect and rapport with animals and do their absolute best to put them back in their own homes, into new homes or place death row pets with rescue groups like HAR rather than the alternative - we all look forward to a time where overbreeding stops and there is no real need for rescue groups as much fewer animals enter council facilities. Until this time HAR will continue to rescue animals from death row - first placing them in temporarily foster carer in a volunteers home until placing them in their loving forever home.

Hunter Animal Rescue and other rescue groups save as many as we possibly can but if you can't find your best friend with any of us please visit local council pounds - SAY NO TO PET SHOP PETS!
