Biggles    Maltese Terrier X    Male
Small size    Approx. 3 years

Biggles is just as investigative as his name sake........ always exploring the garden etc.  He loves to hang out with his foster pals but, he'd also be happy to live with a stay at home Mum or a work from home person............... and just see his doggy pals down at the local park ......

Steffi    Short haired Chiahuahua    Female    Toy size    Approx. 3 years

Graaf    Short Haired Chiahuahua Male     Toy size     Approx. 2 years

Steffi arrived at the Pound first and when Graaf was finally caught by the Rangers, and arrived at the Pound - Steffi was a different dog......... they have obviously lived together and that's the way they will stay - together in their forever new home.       They would make an instant canine family for a retirees or an older working couple.  The bare patch on Steffi's photo on her chest is where the blood was taken from a vein for her heartworm test, which was negative............ as her skin is a darker colour than Graaf's the patch shows up more - it will disappear when the fur grows back.

Bubble    Wire Haired Terrier X    Female    Small size    Approx.    2 years

Bubble came into the Pound with what appears to be her daughter, Squeak and although they're good friends, they don't have to stay together.   Bubble is very sookie and just laps up all the TLC she can get at her foster home.

Squeak    Whire Haired Terrier X    Female     Small size    Approx. 6 months

Squeak and what appears to be her Mum, Bubble came into the Pound with very sad looks on their faces but, now - just one week later, their changed doggies.   Squeak has learnt to play with her foster pals and her tail never stops wagging...........   she would love a family to play with and we're sure she'll come top of the class at Obedience School when she's old enough !

Fleur    Japanese Chin X    Female     Small size    Approx. 3 years

Fleur is a pretty as her  name suggests.  She seems to have led a sheltered life but, is playing catch up very quickly.   She has a strong people focus - doesn't mind the company of her foster pals but really prefers human interaction.  She's ideally suited to an active retiree couple.

Henrietta    Maltese    Female    Small size    Approx. 5 years

Henrietta is such a darling - she mother's all of her foster pals.  Always happy to see people too.  She's ideally suited as a companion to a senior person or couple.

Spike    Tenterfield Terrier    Male    Toy size    Approx. 7 months

Spike and his mother, Lou Lou came into the Pound together....... at first, we thought they should stay together but, they hang out and play with all of their foster pals.......... so, as long as Spike has a cute toy to small sized female doggie to play with, he'll be very happy in his new forever home.......... suitable applicants please apply !

J.J.    Chiahuahua X    Male    Small size    Approx. 12 months

J.J. is so similar in size, age and looks to Hudson - they could easily be brothers !!  Like Hudson,  J.J. is a well socialised doggie - interacts well with his foster pals.  His fur is low maintenance and he loves his food - just an all round, low maintenance dog.  He's ideally suited to a home where he has a daily walk and another small doggie pal to play with when his owners aren't around.

Symonds    Terrier X pup    Male    Small size when fully grown    Approx. 12 weeks

Symonds is about as active and agile as his namesake - Andrew Symonds.  Give him a bat or a ball and we're certain he could play cricket just as well.  His energy levels means that he needs at least one other young small dog to interact with.  A couple of young, active children would be a bonus.

Lotus Flower    Shi Tzu     Female    Small size    Approx. 3 years

Lotus Flower's fur was a mess so it's been shaved off for comfort ........... regular grooming in her new forever home will see her fur grow back into a stylish cut.   She's very skinny but, good quality food is helping her to regain her condition.  She loves to hang out with her foster pals although she could happily cope being an only dog with an owner who works from home or a retiree.

Lucky Strike    Tibetan Spaniel
Male    Small size    Approx. 5 years

Lucky Strike has not had a good home up until now....... he came out of the Pound a very sad dog and he looks older than his records advise.  But, with lots of TLC, good food, a daily cuddle or three, a bath and some cream on the area around his tail to combat a flea allergy, his starting to put a spring into his step and even pushes some of the other dogs aside to be fed first !  He's ideally suited as a companion to a senior's home - sitting beside his new forever owner or even better on their lap is were he belongs.

Patches    Foxie X Jack Russell    Male
Small size    Approx. 12 months

Patches is just looking for a couple of young children and another small doggie to play with for hours on end..............
suitable applicants - please apply !

Delilah    Boxer X    Female  Fawn colour

Medium size when fully grown    Approx. 9 weeks

The Mother of this little darling was a boxer who was left tied to the fence of the pound.   She didnt make it out of the pound.       The pups were later abandoned at the local police station at 4 weeks of age.    Thanks to the genorsity of a Foster Carer, this girl is now ready for her new forever homes.  As Boxers are a very active breed, a large, securely fenced yard is essential, obedience training when she's old enough and another energetic doggie pal to play is the profile of home we'll be looking for.

 OTHER RESCUE GROUPS

Jelly - 4yo Male Tibetan Spaniel

The gorgeous Jelly is looking for a new home to call his own.  Jelly is a fun little guy who loves to play with his ball and spend time with his family.  He loves his walks and would love another doggy companion to play with.  As you can see Jelly is missing one eye but that doesnt slow this mischievious munchkin down a bit.  So if you are looking for a small INSIDE companion and would like the company of an occasionally naughty but always funny companion then Jelly may just be the one.

Jelly comes with full vetwork and lifetime registration and is available to a loving forever home for $300 including a 2 week trial period.
