Animal Number: 12032
Name: Josie
Breed: Red Cattle x
Age: Approx 1 year old
Sex: Female
Size: Medium
Suitable for children: Yes
Ideal home: A person or family that wants a best friend, Josie's favourite place is by your side, but she will need 6ft fences if you want her to stay at home.
A bit about me: Josie is a kind hearted, happy and confident girl looking for her best friend! She is a medium size dog, about knee high. She has been living with three other dogs and loves their company, but loves to be by your side! Josie loves the companionship of people especially kids. She loves pats so much she will jump up for one, but she is not a real cuddler. Josie is happy to stay outside with company, but of course would love to be inside with you. She is completely housetrained so there’s no problem there! Josie will be a very loyal dog as she gets older. She has learnt so many new skills lately, she can sit and stay and come to a whistle. Josie loves to jump in the car and go for a drive and will wait for you to let her out. She loves exercise and likes to go for walks on a loose lead, but loves to run fast in the park. Josie is looking forward to meeting her new family who can spend some time enjoying each others company.

Animal Number: 12034
Name: Cooper
Breed: Border Collie
Age: Approx 6 years old
Sex: Male
Size: Medium
A bit about me: Cooper is a very affectionate and intelligent young man. He is very obedient and loves to please you! He can sit, drop, roll over and we are still working on shake which we are sure he will master in no time at all. Cooper loves to play ball and is very good with other dogs, he walks well on the lead and is getting better with recall.
Cooper will make a great companion, he loves to snuggle up on your lap and nudges you for more pats when you stop. He has so much love to give and is so willing to learn almost anything you teach him. He will require a medium to large size yard and a family who will provide a lot of mental stimulation, while he is no spring chicken he still loves to remain active and would play all day if you let him.
Car rides and walks are two of his favourite things in life next to pats and cuddles, we are currently teaching him to stop and sit on the footpath before crossing the road and he is responding very well to this.
If you are looking for a new best friend, someone who will always be loyal and give you unconditional love then you need Cooper in your life!

Animal Number: 12023
Name: Jack - On Medical Hold
Breed: Shar Pei
Age: Approx 7 years old
Sex: Male
Size: Medium
A bit about me: Jack is a very special boy with a big
heart and a lot of love to give. He hasn't had the best of starts in
life but is now on the mend. When he came in to our care he suffered
from a bad skin allergy which resulted in the loss of all of his hair
from his front legs back, this has taken quite some time to come back
and there are parts of his tail which may never grow back due to hair
follicle damage.
Jack also has an ongoing eye/ nose and ear problem which will be
investigated further once his current lot of antibiotics are finished
and he may require surgery. He is on Medical Hold until we are satisfied
he is healthy enough to move onto his forever home. The vet has advised
us that because Jacks skin condition is from an allergy he may require
ongoing medication to control it should he have an outbreak in future,
this is something his new owners will need to be aware of and be willing
to continue.
Jack has very little vision so will require someone who is patient and
understanding, someone who is willing to help him adjust to his new
surroundings and keep up with his training.
It's the little things in life that Jack loves the most, rubs under his
chin (warning - it's very wet under there from all of the slobber hehe),
rubs on his belly, treats and walks. He also enjoys car rides with his
nose out the window.
Because of Jacks lack of vision he is not a very active doggy, he would
rather sit at your feet in the sun than play chasies. He does however
give it a go now and then he will chase our dog only to end up in the
opposite direction.
Jack loves other dogs and loves being with people so will either need a
family who has another doggy or is home a lot. You should know that by
having a Shar Pei you will experience loud breathing and snoring,
passing of wind and alot of drool/froth from their mouth, these are
typical Shar Pei traits that you will need to be okay with.

Animal Number: 12024
Name: Missy
Breed: Wolf Hound X
Age: Approx 3 years old
Sex: Female
Size: Medium
Suitable for children: Missy would be suitable for a family with children.
Ideal home: Missy will need to be in a fully fenced yard.
A bit about me: My name is Missy. I am very playful. I like to chase balls, love getting pats and going for a walk. If you take me to the bush I love to get off my lead and explore. I'll stay close to you and if I see water I'll go and lay in it and it does not matter if it's a cold day or hot day. I love to go in the water and I love to have a bath. I'll walk into the bath so you do not need to pick me up and put me in the bath. I love food - I get excited when I get fed so I bark. I am starting to like cats a little but you need to watch me as if I have the chance I'll chase the cat and I might hurt it. I bark when I get excited when I see you and I like to shake hands. I am micro-chipped and yes I am desexed.
