It can be challenging to take a photo that does these lovely dogs justice. It is also often very hard to tell how big a dog is by the photo alone.
If you are unsure please contact the carer for more info. Carers are always happy to discuss their foster with you.

Animal Number: 11138
Name: Monty
Breed: Greyhound
Age: 12 months old
Sex: Male
Size: Large
Ideal home: Monty is a cheeky and yet very well tempered boy who adores attention from
anyone willing to give it. He loves to be around people and part of the action
but is also good during the day when left to his own devices. He is a clean dog
that could be either an inside or outside dog. He would benefit from being
re-homed to an active family with at least a medium size backyard and who will
take him to the park and let him run some of his energy out! He is great around
other dogs and has already made a number of friends (dog & human) at the
local dog park where he loves to run and run.
A bit about me: I have a lovely gentle nature and love nothing more than being given attention,
a good rub behind the ears and a meaty dog treat. I also love playing with other
dogs, rolling in mud puddles and generally being around whenever something is
happening. I have recently developed a bigger appetite and have put a little bit
of weight on although I am still a lean build. I don’t bark at all but if I am
ignored I will start to whimper until I am paid my due attention. Given that I
am still a playful puppy, I love to grab any shoes and socks left lying around
and I love digging a hole or two... but I leave the garden alone. I love running
with other dogs although I am not as fast as I used to be as I hurt my back
right leg a little while I go – but I am still quicker than all my friends! I am
very affectionate and easy going except when I have to travel by car – the
movement scares me. I am generally well behaved and I love taking a bath (after
rolling in the mud) but I also love sneaking into the house if the door is left
open as I am a little cheeky but loveable.
Suitable for children: Monty has not currently been around children but he would be suitable for a family with children 6 and up. Given his excitable nature and size, he might be a just bit too big for small children but would adore the attention of kids.

Animal Number: 12015
Name: Shackles
Breed: Labrador
Age: 7 years old
Sex: Male
Size: Large
Suitable for children: He loves children and is gentle around them.
Ideal home: Shackles would be ideally suited to being an inside dog where he can sit at your feet. Shackles also needs a daily walk.
A bit about me: I am very obedient and I always stay close to my owner. I am always happy, I love to lounge around and sleep inside. I don't mind being in a separate room at night to sleep.
