When rehoming Puppies the questions are always asked ...
"How big will it get?" "Will it stay fluffy?" "What will it look like?"
The brutally honest answer is "We can't tell you."
Rescue pups almost always have a "Mystery History" in that little to nothing at all is know about their parentage. Sometimes mum may be in care with the pups, sometimes info may have been left when they were taken to the pound but, more often then not, it's mostly guess work.
We do of course make educated guesses and usually get it pretty right. Here are some now and then photos to clearly illustrate exactly what we mean we say "I can't be sure"
These comparisons are only possible because new owners have sent the pups carer updates as they have grown. Carers always appreciate hearing how their fosters are getting on so if you own a HAR dog always feel free to keep in touch with the carer. You never know, your dog may end up on this page!
