Animal Number: TBA
Name: Maise - On Hold (13/1/12)
Breed: Doberman x Staffy
Age: Approx 6 weeks old
Sex: Male
Size: Puppy
Ideal home: I would love a home with LOTS of exercise. I am
only little at the moment but I will grow quite big so I will need high
fences and a good sized backyard. I would love to go lots of exciting
places exploring with you and I would love quiet time snuggled up on the
lounge as well. I have been sleeping outside with my brother and sister
and I do not mind sleeping out as long as it's not too cold.
A bit about me: Hi, my name is Maise and I am even more
handsome than I look in my profile pictures! I am quiet and content but I
also love a good rumble with my brother and sister. I love chew toys,
dinner time & heaps of pats!
At the moment I am only little but I will grow up to be a big puppy
with lots of energy. I have started very basic toilet training but I am
very keen to learn lots of new things and I am learning very quickly!
My foster Mummy also has pictures of my Mummy & Daddy if you
would like to see. My Dad is a pure bred Doberman and is very handsome
and my Mummy is a Staffy x German Shepard.

Animal Number: 11074
Name: Johnnie - On Hold (14/1/12)
Breed: Staffy, Shepherd, Doberman x
Age: Approx 8 weeks old
Sex: Male
Size: Puppy - will grow to Large size
Suitable for children: Johnnie has been great with my little
nephew but being a puppy he has the tendency to knock them over and
sometimes tries to chew on fingers so he will need supervision around
children.
Ideal home: Johnnie will be a medium to large dog when he is
fully grown who will need a family who has experience in large dogs. He
is very active and will need a daily walk and plenty of room to run as
he has lots of energy like all young dogs do. As Johnnie is still a
young dog he will need daily attention and continued training. A home
with another dog to play with would be perfect as Johnnie loves to
interact with other dogs.
A bit about me: Johnnie is a sweet heart he loves nothing
more than cuddles and to be around you. He was quite small in comparison
to his brothers and sisters but he has thrived and is full of
character. Johnnie loves playing with his toys and sits like a good boy
at dinner time.

Breed: Border Collie x
Age: Approx 6 weeks old
Sex: Male
Size: Puppy, but will grow to a medium to large size when older
A bit about me: Hi there, my name is Baxter and I am a border collie
cross. My foster mum says that I am a smart puppy and that I need a lot of toys
to keep to entertained. I'm a typical puppy, I like to play, sleep and eat! I
love people and would love a family of my own, I also love my foster sister and
would love a real sibling of my own.
Ideal
home: Baxter is border collie meaning he needs a job to do. Baxter's ideal home
must be active and be able to provide him with plenty of exercise and mental
stimulation. This is a must! Baxter is a smart boy who will also need training,
his ideal home will need to ensure he gets it. Has been around children and also
around older dogs, he had no problems with either. Baxter's new home must

Animal Number: 11111
Name: Inca - On Trial (23/01/12)
Breed: Doberman x Staffy
Age: Approx 6 weeks old
Sex: Male
Size: Puppy
Ideal home:
I would love a home with LOTS of exercise. I am only little at the
moment but I will grow quite big so I will need high fences and a good
sized backyard.
I was taken away from my Mummy and Daddy very early and I miss them
lots. I am currently in care with one of my brothers & one of my
sisters and I would love to stay with them but I will be ok without them
with lots of cuddles.
I am not a breed that is renowned for being child friendly but I
have been very patient and gentle with little people so I think I might
still be ok to come home with you if you have them.
A bit about me: My name is Inca and I am still a little tiny baby
puppy. I am a gentle little boy and my dream is to be a lap dog. I
would like to spend a lot of time cuddled up on the couch with you,
watching TV or reading a book, and when you are ready to go out I would
love you to take me with you! I am only a little puppy at the moment but
my foster Mummy says I will grow BIG so you might have to move over and
make lots of room for me.
I love to eat everything! My favorites are chicken, fish, bikkies
and leftovers (except Cruskits: you can give them to me but I'll leave
them in the bowl for you). I have also just discovered tennis balls! I
know I am going to have a lot of fun chasing them!
I have started very basic toilet training but I am very keen to learn lots of new things and I am learning very quickly!
My foster Mummy also has pictures of my Mummy & Daddy if you
would like to see. My Dad is a pure bred Doberman and is very handsome
and my Mummy is a Staffy x German Shepard.

Animal Number: 11201
Name: Leftie - On Trial (24/1/12)
Breed: TBC (possibility of a Chihuahua x Foxy)
Age: Approx 7 weeks old
Sex: Male
Size: Puppy - estimated to grow to be a small to medium dog
Ideal
home: I am only a small dog but have a huge heart. I love sleeping
and playing indoors but also like to run and play in the sunshine. I
love company. I am happy to follow you around, sit next to you to watch
television or play games and wrestle. My ideal family would be present a
lot, include me in family outings and have time to give me lots of
attention. My current family have children with whom I love to play and
snuggle with. I have not been raised with my siblings or other pets so I
am unsure of other animals. With time, I am sure to adjust.
A bit about me:
My name is Leftie and I am looking for a loving, caring and fun-filled
home. I lost my family when I was 1 week old so have been playing with a
human family until I find my ideal home. I am very unique in many ways
that makes me stand out from everyone else. I have an awesome curly tail
that flaps around when I get excited and want to play. I have big, cute
ears that flap around in the wind and when I’m bored become great to
play with. I am a really fast runner and despite the fact that I have
only three legs, I am still able to catch moving objects. I am playful
and active but also love to snuggle under a chin, on a lap or if that
fails, am content to fall asleep by your feet. I enjoy outings with the
family, especially rides in the car and trips to the sandy islands in
the boat. I am very well behaved and will sit in your lap and observe.
Many people have tried to guess my breed but as I am still little, it is
difficult to tell.

Animal Number: 12003
Name: Patch - On Trial (26/1/12)
Breed: Australian Cattle x
Age: Approx 10 weeks old
Sex: Male
Size: Puppy
A bit about me: Hello, my name is Patch and I am looking for my perfect
forever home! I am a typical cheeky puppy and lovee to have a game with you. I
can be a little vocal when in play but thats because I get really excited. I am
learning how to sit and will benefit from ongoing training, I love to please you
and be rewarded with food. My favourite game is with squeaky toys and I'm a big
fan of water too! I don't mind a wrestle and enjoy playing chasies with my
foster sisters. I am looking for a special home because I am a special breed.
Too many of my breed find themselves sitting in a pound because their owners did
not understand that we require alot of exercise and mental stimulation otherwise
we can become destructive. I have already had to experience the pound
environment at such a young age and did not like it at all. Because of this my
foster mummy and daddy are looking for the perfect home, not the first home. I
know I will make the perfect addition to someones family, so if you think it may
be yours please contact my foster mum on the below details.

Animal Number: TBA
Name: Amy - On Trial (28/1/12)
Breed: Doberman x
Age: Approx 8 weeks old
Sex: Female
Size: Puppy - estimated to grow to be a small to medium dog
Ideal home: I've
been told by the that I would be a small to medim size dog. I'd need
lots of walks and toys to play with. I'm great with other dogs and love
to play.
A bit about me:
Hello everyone My name is Amy and I'm looking for my forever home. I was
very young when my foster mummy took me (4 weeks) and I was so tiny. I
did cry the first few nights as I was scared and didnt like being on my
own but after a while I was ok. I didnt like sleeping in the laundry but
now im bigger I sleep outside. I did go potty in the house as I was
still learning how to hold on. I still have a little accident every now
and again but since I spend most of the time outside I know to go on the
grass. Now im a big girl I spend most of my time in the backyard with
my big brother Chief. We play chaises all the time, but our favourite
past time iswrestling. And although he is lots bigger than me I still
dont get scared.
Mum says im a really good
girl and that im very smart and I learn things very easily for such a
little pup. I sometimes boss my brother around even though he is 10
times bigger than me, but thats just the Doberman in me talking. I would
need someone to stand up to me and not let me take over.
I
would make a wonderful addition to ay family. I have loads of puppy hugs
and kisses to give. My foster Mummy also has pictures of my Mummy and
Daddy if you would like to see. My Dad is a pure bred Doberman and is
very handsome and my Mummy is a Staffy x German Shepherd.

(Photos courtesy of Shoot-Ya-Pooch Pet Photography)
Animal Number: 11194
Name: Marlow - On Trial (20/1/12)
Breed: Chinese Crested x Shih Tzu
Age: Approx 9 months old
Sex: Male
Size: Very Small (approx 4kg)
Suitable for children: Marlow is suitable for very young and school aged children.
Ideal home: My ideal
home would be one where there is someone home most of the time. I am
full of puppy energy so I would also prefer another puppy friend or
young children to play with me and keep me company.
A bit about me: My
name is Marlow and I would love to find my forever home. For no reason
of my own, I have been placed in quite a few different homes in my short
life and for that reason my behaviour can sometimes leave a little to
be desired. I don’t mean to be naughty; it’s just that no one has
devoted the time that I deserve to teach me all the rights and wrongs.
My foster Mum says I am adorable (I know that) but she says my
behaviour has improved heaps with the one on one time I have received
lately while she was on holidays. This is because I just love hanging
out with her. I love getting praise (and treats) so will try my very
best to please, but I know I have some bad habits to break. Just show me
that I belong and love me and I promise to try and be good.
I adore young children, other dogs, cats and people in general. Oh,
and I really love to play with the cat, but my pussy cat friend really
does not like to play with me. I would best suit somewhere where I have
some form of company throughout the day, whether its adult, child or
another animal companion. Even if it is only to snuggle close to and
sleep. The closer the better!!
I am very tolerant with cats and will suit a home where you can show
me my boundaries, but be warned, just like the cheeky puppy that I am, I
like to push those boundaries. It's all in fun. I will be a fantastic
little playmate or companion for the right family.
I adore my cuddles and affection and pride myself on being a fantastic guard dog. Nothing escapes my notice.

Animal Number: 11200
Name: Tessa - On Trial (21/1/12)
Breed: Foxy x Jack Russell
Age: 3 years old
Sex: Female
Size: Small (5-6kg)
Ideal home:
I would love a home that will give me lots of love, and a lap to sit on
every night. I am fine outside during the day, but prefer to be inside
by your side if you're at home. I am definitely more of a people-dog
than a dog's dog, but I will tolerate the company of a furry companion
if need be. At this stage I am looking for a home in the Newcastle/Lake
Macquarie area only.
A bit about me: I
am a quiet and gentle girl who enjoys the simple things in life like
belly-rubs and cuddles. I love going for walks and am great walking on
the lead by your side. I am toilet trained, perfect inside the house and
am learning not to jump up on the bed (but would love to curl up on the
bed with you if invited!) My history is unknown but it seems as though I
had a litter or two of puppies then somehow wound up dumped at the
pound. I know basic obedience and can do a neat trick where I walk on my
back legs. I will be desexed and vaccinated in mid-January 2012, and
will hopefully find my forever home soon after that!

Name: Smidgen - On Trial (29/1/12)
DOB: 30/3/2006
Breed: Maltese x Yorkshire Terrier
Sex: Male
Size: Small
A bit about me: He LOVES food, any food, riding in the car
and sleeping on the lounge. He DOESN'T like being outside for long
periods. He uses a doggy door and sleeps inside (on the bed if he can
wangle it). Smidge is very sociable and likes to meet all the dogs he
sees when he's out and about. He doesn't need a lot of exercise but
likes a short walk. Smidge is a real character that you can't help but
fall in love with. He needs to be clipped every 2-3 months.
