Kittens for Adoption : 8 weeks to 6 months

All kittens have been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, vet checked, treated for fleas & worms.
A two week trial period is given for all new owners.

All Kittens have an adoption fee of $180
please note the increased adoption fee due to increased costs 

Please read the Hunter Animal Rescue Adoption Agreement before considering adopting a HAR animal.

Hunter Animal Rescue is a charity run by volunteers who dedicate their time to finding new homes for abandoned pets facing euthanasia. All animals are kept in foster carer homes, where they experience a good quality of life, and the carers get a good idea of a cat's personality and suitability for different homes. All HAR cats and kittens are kept as strictly indoor / in enclosure pets to keep them safe from snakes, cars, dogs, fighting, hunting, straying and the harsh sun. All of our foster cats and kittens are very happy as strictly indoor pets and HAR expect the same to occur in their new homes. If you are worried about your furniture being ruined by rough and tumble play as indoor pets we suggest you visit the adult cats page for cats who have grown out of this developmental stage and would prefer to lie on the lounge than to wrestle it.

Leeroy is a timid shy kitten. He was found in a upside down garbage bin on a stormy night. He gets on well with other cats. He needs someone to help him overcome his shyness but once he gets to know you he is fine. He can be very friendly & affectionate once he gets used to you.

Frankie

Frankie is a very affectionate boy who loves to play and when he wants a cuddle he will wrap his legs around yours to be picked up. He needs to be indoors because of his pink ears.

Crystal

Crystal has the most energy, she will play for hours. When she is tired she will come and snuggle up to you.

Simma

Simma is a quiet kitten, who loves rubs and cuddles. He has the sweetest eyes. He is only a little fellow.

Sunny is a playful boy. He is the brother of Simma. He also can be quiet at times but most times he loves to play with his toys.

Garfield and Marmalade

Garfield (left photo) is a cheeky boy who loves playing and following you around. He loves a lot of cuddles and kisses. He also loves sleeping on your lap when he is finished playing.

Marmalade (right photo) is Garfield's brother, who is exactly the same as his brother. He is a cheeky little boy and is very friendly and affectionate. He also loves his food, much like his brother.

Amalie
female

I am a very special kitten. I am so playful and energetic, I love playing with all of my toys. I have very unique ears, and piercing eyes. I am ok with the young children at my foster home, so long as they are gentle and treat me with care. My favourite spot to sleep is in a dolls cot! I am great company and enjoy evening snoozes on the couch. Even though I am small in size, I'm still suitable for a home with small children if supervised.  I am very affectionate like all kittens and love to play chasing games.

I am a family kitten. I’m happy to be around children (big or small) given that they are gentle and treat me with care. I am VERY affectionate, love staring out of windows and investigating everything!  I love chasing bugs!  I purr constantly, and long naps make me very happy. Nothing really phases me; I am a very cruisy kitten! I love hunting down anything that crosses my path! - bugs, skinks, flies!  Even though I'm small in size, my fluff makes me look bigger than what I really am!  Did I tell you that I love chasing bugs?

Crystal, Max and Pixie

Size: Growing fast - beautiful, slim-lined kittens

Ideal family:  Loving, with caring.  All three kittens have been brought up in a family environment and love children and older people alike.  They  adore play time and will chase fluffy balls, pieces of string, in fact anything that looks interesting.  The kittens have not been exposed to a dog at all so we do not know what they would be like with one but assume they would soon get into playing with the dog too.  They are beautiful, friendly kittens just looking for a kind and loving home.

About us:  We love cuddles, playing and eating.  Two of us are really good about using our litter tray and the other one is still learning!  We enjoy playing with children and adults alike and can always find a game to amuse us.  We have been wormed, flea treated and will be desexed.

Wylee is a beautiful, very playful kitten, he loves "big time wrestling" with his siblings Sylvester and Heidi, he is a cuddly boy who likes to sit on you and rest when he has worn himself out, he is very inquisitive and has explored the whole house, he loves to climb in cupboards when they are open and has found himself locked in on more than one occasion.
Wylee is looking for his forever home now as his foster parents are going away in a couple of weeks and would like him to be settled into his new home before they go.

Heidi is the only girl of the three, her brothers are Wylee and Sylvester but when it comes to
play and wrestling she can hold her own very well, she loves to cuddle and smooch, and likes it
when her foster mum watches TV on her day off.
Heidi loves to explore with Wylee and has also been closed in a cupboard or two.
 
Heidi is looking for her forever home now as her foster parents are going away in a couple of weeks

Sylvester is a very affectionate kitten who loves to smooch and cuddle he is our SNAK (sensitive new age kitten) his
brother is Wylee but he is not as "out there" as Wylee, his sister is Heidi, he is more a person kitten,
he loves to sleep on your lap,when its play time he does like to wrestle with the others but is more gentle,
he also loves to explore every nook and cranny of the house.

Alice is a sweet little girl who would love to find a nice quiet home where she can spend her days.
Like all kittens she enjoys climbing & running around the house and once she becomes accustomed to you she is an affectionate little girl.
She is quite timid though if she is not the one causing all the commotion.
Alice would be best suited to a house where there are no young children as she finds all the attention a little too much.

Shelly is the only girl in the family.  She’s very petite and loves a cuddle.  She is not as rowdy as her two older brothers Mr Sox and Henry!
