Kittens for Adoption : 8 weeks to 6 months
All kittens have been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, vet checked, treated for fleas & worms. All Kittens have an adoption fee of $160
Included in the adoption fee is Change Of Ownership with Local Council.
A two week trial period is given for all new owners.
Please read the Hunter Animal Rescue Adoption Agreement before considering adopting a HAR animal.

Hunter Animal Rescue is a charity run by volunteers who dedicate their time to finding new homes for abandoned pets facing euthanasia. All animals are kept in foster carer homes, where they experience a good quality of life, and the carers get a good idea of a cat's personality and suitability for different homes. All HAR cats and kittens are kept as strictly indoor / in enclosure pets to keep them safe from snakes, cars, dogs, fighting, hunting, straying and the harsh sun. All of our foster cats and kittens are very happy as strictly indoor pets and HAR expect the same to occur in their new homes. If you are worried about your furniture being ruined by rough and tumble play as indoor pets we suggest you visit the adult cats page for cats who have grown out of this developmental stage and would prefer to ly on the lounge than to wrestle it. | ||||||

    My foster mum doesnt seem to know what my foster name is .. one second she is refering to me as Cuddles.. the next as Miss Elegance.. the next she calls me Puppy just because I like to play fetch with my kitten toys! Whats the point in just letting my foster family just throw my toys once.. much more fun when I bring them back to them and they throw them again for me to chase.. they also love to laugh at me when I play hide and seek and jump out and frighten them before they realise its just me again! As you can see I love cuddles.. in your arms.. on the lounge.. actually anywhere and I am super loyal even though it did take a few days to gain their trust but now I just can't stop thinking about them and I can't seem to leave them alone! They do spoil me and although im not a big eater I like the finer foods- tops off Cappachinos are my favourite but I also LOVE my tuna meat..     Coco has settled alot since arriving from the pound and is an affectionate cat who likes to be around you. She often comes up for lots of pats or to sit with you, to know what your doing. She purrs alot but isnt too up for cuddles just yet when there is so much fun to be had with anything she can find including foil, pencils or hairbands.       If you are looking for a kitten that just loves kids then l am the kitten for you! I love to smooch the kids and they give me wonderful cuddles, I even don't mind a ride in the shopping trolley, Kids bath time is great, l like to go and watch them and even have a drink of bath water, oooops, tonight l fell in, that wasn't good. I am great with the litter too, no accidents at all. l also love my kitten toys especially the ping pong balls. l get on with my adult foster cat too, l'm a bit unsure of the dog though, but my foster mum thinks that l could come around to liking the dog. Dotti is a very affectionate girl who would like to be an only cat, she is very playful with her kitten toys buts loves to snuggle up when she has worn her self out, quite independent but does require a certain amount of attention, would suit working family but will need time for her at night.
