Hunter Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers who dedicate their time to finding new homes for abandoned pets facing euthanasia. All animals are kept in foster carer homes, where they experience a good quality of life, and the carers get a good idea of a cat's personality and suitability for different homes.

Bindi is a very independant lady who has a very pretty russian blue coat and sparkling gold eyes. Bindi likes to do things her way and can be affectionate or easily changes her mind and prefers to laze around on her own. As a four year old she has left her energetic kitten ways behind and is on the look out for a place to call her own.

 Rene and Katey will be ready for adoption in early October 

We are amazed and delighted with such a quick and generous response! THANKYOU both from Rene, Katy, all the cat and kitten carers and all of our future mums and kittens who will benefit!

    Rene, Female due to have kittens 22nd August

Rene came into care with her kittens Penny, Tippy, Tai and Girlfriend. She was a very slender elegant cat who looked similair to a jungle cat. Her carers whisked her to the vets the following day to be desexed... only to find she was already 4 weeks into another pregnancy. This occured before she entered our care and Rene is now showing obvious visual signs of pregnancy and is expanding daily. Katey has just arrived into care with her five kittens who are 2 weeks old. Katey is a very affectionate and doteing mum who loves cuddles and attention from her carers and is never far from her little kittens.

We currently have no kittens between 7 weeks and 6 months in care. 

It is unusual for cats to breed in the cold winter months but Katy and Rene both have kittens who will begin to be available in 6 weeks time. To visit the kitten shower page click here
